I know, you made an excellent point. 😖mart: There would be no purpose to pray to god. Though I was stating that the church gave themselves the authority, for they are god on earth. Many Catholics don't realize the blasphemy in what they are doing.See what happenes when I'm bored?
Exactly !
Prayers are answered yes... just not directly or in the way we might have wished, it takes them up in signs... such as if you have a reletive who is dieing you may pray for them to get better or recover, and the reletive will die anyways, well for one thing you didnt ask how for it to recover or ask for them NOT to die, so one way to recover from their great ordeal is indeed stress as it is an escape and is the quickest treatment
its amazing how many people make apologetic replies about why prayers are not directly answered saying that its god's wisdom, it takes time, theyr answered just not in the way you expect etc. but the fact is, PEOPLE PRAY TO GOD TO GET THEIR PRAYERS ANSWERED DIRECTLY, SIMPLY, OTHERWISE THEY COULD JUST WAIT ON LUCK TO DO IT FOR THEM OR DENY THEM THEIR WISH. in anything there is a 50/50 chance of things happening/not happening apologetics make it out to look like when that 50% chance happens and prayers ARENT answered that they will be answered in another form one which you dont understand yet, or that god is wise and them not being answered is actually GOOD for u and its his wisdom which u cant comprehend, OR that you merely have to WAIT and be patient. and they leap at any time when the other 50% comes true and what you ask for really does happen. fact is ITS SIMPLY LUCK!
or ultimately if u piss em off by shoving logic in their face, theyll say that you OBVIOUSLY didnt ask for it with a pure heart and faith{not knowing if EITHER is true} and thats why it didnt come true because it is IMPOSSIBLE that god does not accept a true prayer and since god is perfect you MUST be in the wrong.
this is going to be my side on this:
I believe in God, but I definitely think he doesn't answer our prayers on purpose. He wants us to work out ourselves. He gave us free will, so why can't we use it and figure things out for ourselves instead of being a God-minion.
That was badly worded.
and I have faith in God, but I got this whole shmizz theory about the Church and the propaganda.
sorry if there was a reply exactly like this already, didn't feel like reading 11 pages.
