Grenade Thrown at Bush

Bush was in Georga (part of the old USSR) when a man made it through security and threw a grenade, the Russian secret service jumped on the man (who i assume is now going to be tortured for 30 years) and the grenade (which, it turned out to be inactive DAMMIT), Bush not even noticing it happen, and wasn't aware of the threat untill HOURS LATER when he was told on Air Force One.

this begs me to ask the question, of all the presidents, why hasn't Bush been assasinated yet? He pisses off SO many people, yet lives. Kennedy was killed and he was a heaps better president. Lincoln, one of the most famous presidents was killed, so why the **** hasn't bush been blown away?

the article (in the paper or i'd have uped the link, sorry) said the grenade was quite old, so i'm sure the guy had best intentions for it to go off, but it still dosn't make sence, wouldn't you hunt down a soviet sniper rifle?

Also from what I read the grenade was pretty far away and it wasn't even live. If someone wanted to kill him I am sure they would have pulled the pin first. I also doubt that Bush will be killed before his term is up.

I think that when 9/11 happen cheney went into an underground bunker and Bush went into a plane or something.. they went to two different places but they were both safe.

In answer to the original question, the reason Bush is still alive is becuase he has more protection and security than probably any one person in history, or at least the most for any president

they did pull the pin, the grenade was old and didn't detonate, either that or he got sold a dud. i hope bush dies early
