the thing is...anything that spidey literally throws could just as well be tossed back into his face with ease......if: (spoilers)
he's really has powerful as the emporer made him out to be....he should have no problem "forcing" everything within the surounding (sp?) area like he did at the end of ep3
and he doesn't even need to pay attention to spidey to hold him in the air and keep him there for his own amusement...

Yeah, I suppose I'll have to agree with that. I just hate how the prequels painted the Jedi and Sith to be... Ep. III made the "reunion battle" between Obi-wan and Vader so anti-climactic in Ep. IV. And I LIKED that fight! I thought it was one of the best scenes in the movies (except for Han Solo being trapped in carbonite) and elegant in its simplicity.
Oh, and Fanboy Wolverine can take on ANYONE. Man... do we have a list of his powers, too? Because that would be fantastic.! >.>
Ok bert...you poked your fun. First off, I dont recall saying it was a BETTER feat what yoda did with the pillar. I used it as a counter to the train stopping debate. Yoda also has less power than anakin. About gravity, im not stupid, of course the effects of gravity are not going to pull the train down through the ground through the earths outer layers of magma, into its core. I simply said Yoda had gravity going against him, spiderman did not. And talk about rude...I have 1 a month in a half until i graduate with an aeronautical engineering degree. Don't disrespect me by saying i dont know my stuff. Im trying to keep it elementary so every1 understands, yet you feel you must make me look stupid, by showcasing a small (as you said it, basic physics) knowledge of physics.

You are a great debator JINZIN, with great knowledge over many characters. So am I. One thing you must keep in mind however, is that huge icons like these are going to have droves of fanboys who have not grown out of their "unrealistic expectations" they have probably had since they started idolizing these characters at the age of 3. Some of my friends think that Wolvie can beat Professor X and Magneto at THE SAME TIME!!
I love Wolverine, Spiderman, and Darth because they are not perfect. I Dont always want to see a character win. In the basic rule of comic writing the character must be beatable, or have a weakness (a.k.a) kryptonite, or the character will become stale FAST, especially if they don't have a background.
Bottom line Icons bring fans, fans bring fanboys, they just never go far in an argument.

How silly of me to think that you were implying that Yoda's feat was greater than Spidey's. I really must read more carefully in the future.

I agree... people who has'nt read the sw comics don't know of vaders potential. In the comics he's so powerfull that I bet he could take on most characters from MU easily. And don't give me the crap about spidey hitting him with web. He won't. I like spidey as much as anyone, but in this match he's outclassed on so many levels it's not even funny.
Spidey will go down hard and fast.
