raised in another topic, but it is of importance.........what about Sifo Dyas and the erased jedi archive?

Never mentioned in ROTS. This is in LOE.

It also didn't have the Petition of the Two Thousand, and Mon Mothma.

Nope but if you were spoiled you knew that going in. And it's Delegation of 2000.

This movie was very sad and very depressing-- but that makes it grand! Despite the overly dark mood of the movie, I'd give it a 10/10... not some goofy 4290181284/10. lol. But.. I dunno. Just the part after Palpatine changes-- I love him and all, but he seemed too evil (I know, I know.. he's supposed to be). He seemed like something more out of a horror film, in my opinion. I guess I just have to let it settle in my mind.

But all of this makes for a truly marvelous movie.

Labyrinths of Evil is an EU book, it is sad to see GL leave this Sifo Dyas matter to an EU author. It was a pressing issue raised in a SW film and should be part of the real SW which the movies represent. That this issue raised in the film is left for us to find out in a book just show the fact about the greed behind Lucas.
For us who is just in there for the films sits back with GL you messed up with leaving this info out

Right then, it's 3:20pm in the uk and i've already seen it twice!
Obviously it is by far the best of the prequel trilogy but there are lots of things wrong with it.
My main problem is it appears little bits have been removed. Such as when Yoda is fighting palpatine it's pretty even and it looks like Yoda could win. He falls off the pod and the next thing we see is him running (crawling) away like a girl down the tunnel. What made him turn and run? why didn't he pick his saber off the floor and get back up to the fight??
Secondly why don't we see much jedi killing in the temple? Thousands of troops go in with anakin but all we see is dead children and him fighting 2 jedi in the hologram. It doesn't give much scale to the destruction.
A minor moan but the lightsaber duels don't seem very long. In AOTC the duel with dooku is difficult and they nearly die but in sith it's over in 2 seconds when anakin gets mad. I think it could have been drawn out a bit more.

On a plus note Ian McDiarmid is fantastic. Very sneaky and sinister, a great acting performance in a star wars prequel shocker!

Shaak ti dying was cut too

The Temple Scene was rubbish i think.

Also the Clip of the Temple on Fire with smoke coming out from the Distance (whats the the Trailer) was Cut too i think???

I saw episode 3 today I say its the best star wars movie. Hayden and
Natalie were great, but Ian stole the show. It was great fun to watch.
After that i felt sad that there is no more episodes to wait for.

that's the problem with us fans (sorry to generalized). we come here for a year or 2 and get spoiled as veruca salt, we expect to see some specific things, then BAAAM those things are cut.

the movie is an absolute 10, for me ROTS shares the number one spot with empire. though it's not a perfect movie.
all those reviews saying that the dialogue is flat are false, that plus crap. it's the best delivery of the PT.

the best part for me was that this was an R"D" movie more than a c3po movie, thank god.

could it be longer? yes it could

how about vader? it was great, the anger, the pain, the POV shot, i know that the first steps are bizarre but, he just got new robotic legs what did you expect?. the voice was good it finally explains, at least to some trolls that the helmet changed the voice ( dahh). the noooo thingy was...well it was.

the abridged version of a muse review

-dialogue slightly too wooden and corny at times for me
-loved the battle scenes, cgi better than the other two
-i feel that this movie really tied up all loose ends and really led way for episode IV to occur. i think that that was one of the most important things that this movie had to do.
-mace windu and his purple light saber, enough said (he made the face!!!)
-r2d2 and chewbacca, two characters that i love from the originals..made me love them even more after seeing this movie
-and above all else...rock my world, yoda does

i'd give it a 9/10 (that one point is taken away because of dialogue)

some of us managed to be spoil free

gonna see it again tomorrow, maybe I be able to give a more thorough an objective view of it

I honestly, honestly don't see how people are calling it the best ever. I thought my review was the most concise so far, and pointed out the majority of the flaws that distances this far, far from any of the O.T. installments.

There are some things that just can't be denied, and apparently no accounting for appreciation of the originals, granted you've seen them, and fallen in love with them like us older members.

I thought it was a really good movie, although I agree strongly with JP that it needed a little more of certain things and I wish less had been cut out. I am going to see it again tomorrow, in order to absorb it better and THEN I think I will want to break it apart in more detail.

The more I think of it, the more I'm beginning to detest all the liars in the OT. And GL made them so. Here's a little list of the lies in the OT now:

- OB1 - an old one: the lies about Darth Vader and Luke's father
- OB1: I haven't gone by the name of OB1 since all before you were born
- OB1: He (i.e. Owen Lars) felt he (i.e. Anakin) should have stayed home and not follow old OB1 on some damn fool idealistic crusade
- Ob1: It's your father's lightsabre, your father wanted you to have this when you were old enough
- Leia: (about the memories of her mother) Only images really, she was very beautiful but... sad... (yeah sure)

Boy, do I miss Han.... 😉

Are you aware of the fact that your arrogance has no bounds? There were several other reviews posted here that were every bit as good a read as yours. 🙄

And Queeq, we got that you think they are all liars the other 56 times you said it babe. 😛

I think some of this will eventually be cleared up in either E.U. or whatever Lucas has planned later.

There is one thing about Obi Wan's name sake. Last we saw of him, he left Anakin to die, and he was walking off. Given the Jedi Council was no more, that was probably when BEN Kenobi, the secluded hermit, was born.

Arrogance? It's an opinion, given all the reviews I've written in the past. I thought I pointed out a good many details, whereas everyone hailing this as the best ever have little to support it, letting their biased opinions shadow the factual flaws.

All before Luke was born? Oh come on....

And JP: it can't be said enough. Some said ROTS would make TPM and AOTC better. Well I doubt that, but it did make the OT less good. And that is a shame.
