Eh, I think it was a great game, and I hope for more like it, actually. Playing as the spider and Scorpion was really cool, especially the way everything tied in. Had a pretty great plot for a game about bugs.

Yeah but when it comes to its exclusive library the DS destroys it. Its also got the far superior control scheme out of the two systems.

Yeah but when it comes to power, the PSP destroys it. Until the 3DS comes out, the DS is bottom of the barrel when compared to the PSP.
Then there's Homebrew for which the PSP is plain better.

And it's got a bigger and better screen. (Well, except for the fairly useless PSP GO)

They've both got strengths and weaknesses. Which console you like depends on which console's strengths attract you, (or just general fanboyism in some cases)

You sure about that? I've heard people claiming Halo 3, God of War 3, Twilight Princess, Smash Bros Brawl, and Final Fantasy XIII would be the best game ever and none of them were any better than their predecessor.

Xenoblade is set to possess all of the merits of the other games in the series in all things story, music and art related, as well as a fundamental quality that they lacked, and the only thing that really prevented them from being the best games out there, and that is great gameplay (as well as a strong balance between story and gameplay). I'm talking about a Xenogears or a Xenosaga with Zelda like gameplay. This is Xenoblade. Can you imagine such a game?

I can already tell that it's not going to sell well outside Asia, since the US/European general populace aren't really interested in animu or any wapanese things.. they prefer the generic multi-player FPS.

I can. I'll admit, it will be great, especially if it isn't as story oriented as the prior games, but it still wouldn't make it the "OMG IT'S LIEK TEH BESTEST GAEM EVAR!!!"
