Sadly England have the footballing creativity of a female coma patient.

England needs the type of player like Xavi, or Iniesta, someone who is very creative in the centre midfield position, like Fabregas in Arsenal.

Joey Barton was apparently a possible candidate for a fresh England midfielder. However, due to the fact that he's an unruly nutter, I doubt it'll ever happen.

I think the word "HAD" should have been used. Anyone who has ever played or coached knows you need match practice to keep your sharpness. Owen cannot have it back yet.

Give him time though and as long as he gets his pace back and gets the service he´ll deliver.

But eventually Waclott´s gotta be in with a chance, he is faster, better finisher and cooler headed than Owen. Rooney is a workhorse who works better behind the strikers imo, and he can hit a ball.
