I've always said Nicklas Bendtner and Carlos Vela are better than Henry.

Arsenal do have a selection of good young strikers to come through... Arturo Lupoli as well.

My dad pointed out something in the newspaper yesterday (Probably unconfirmed, made up stuff.) that Arsenal would only sell Henry if they got Eto'o and 17 mill.

Not sure how true that is, but isn't worth it in my opinion.

Of course it isn't, Henry is already 30 years old, while Eto'o has the best years ahead of him. And even if yhey wore both the same age, it still wouldnt be worth it for Barca.

Henry is getting on a bit, sell him while he's still worth alot.

But who is left then in Arsenal, only Van Persie is world-class player upfront, Babtista will most certainly be leaving(prays to God) and Adebayor is a poor finisher.

But then you could easily counter-balance that with his volley against Charlton(?), couldn't you.

I think that ever since he's been given time to mature at Arsenal, he's at least been on the verge of being world class. They missed him just as much as Henry this season. If those two stay fit and on form next season, I'd say Arsenal have the strongest all-round team in the country on paper. And if they transfer that to the pitch like they did in last year's Champions League campaign, I think they could challenge Chelsea and Man United. They're certainly better equipped than Liverpool for that.

Once Arsenals younger players have more experience and players like Walcott are constant they will be hard to beat. One thing that Wenger does well is build for the future.

Chelsea´s happy days are over IMO. MAN U don´t score enough when you consider their potential.

And Liverpool need a new manager, Benitez is daft.

Hargreaves, Anderson and Nani are three excellent players though, they've given their squad some spine. Sure, they need another Van Nistlerooy, but considering they won a league title and lost to the eventual champions in the European semis without a genuine center forward and almost all of their first choice defense out by the end, you can't say much against them. With Ronaldo and Rooney in the team, goals will always come.

Yeah, Benitez is overrated. Not getting rid of Harry Kewell, buying Craig Bellamy, picking Zenden and pulling off Mascherano in the Champions League final all pretty much prove he's not the tactical genius people seem to think. He's very good at the psychological side of management, and he's made some clever purchases (Reina, Pennant, Luis Garcia, Agger, Mascherano, Fowler, the latter as it pretty much ensured he got in good with the Liverpool fans nice and early), but he's no Ferguson or Wenger.

Arsenal will need to make some signings before they challenge Man U and Chelsea... And as for Van Persie being World Class, i just dont see it tbh. He's a good striker, but not world class... maybe he will be in the future.

Whichever criteria we use, it will be undeniable soon.

A great winger, and a new centre back for cover, and Arsenal will have the best squad in the league. They are only really second to Chelsea at the moment, as Man Utd- the new signings notwithstanding- have a weak squad.

Agreed, i hope they get Quaresma or Maluda. Daniel Alves as a right back would be great to, Eboue has ben poor this season and he and Lehman have been acting realy on the pitch with their anticks.

eboue drives me nuts feigning injury and acting like someone shot him or something. i cant stand that sort of thing.
