I think a left winger would be good for the squad, and also give a few extra options, but RvP can cover the position, especially in a 4-5-1, but also if Arsenal play the 4-3-3 Eduardo will play in that spot.

I don't really see that they need another striker, to be honest. It seems that because Eduardo isn't a direct replacement for Henry, and perhaps not the well-known name to palliate the idiotic potential Man Utd/Chelsea type fans, a lot of fans think that Arsenal will still buy another striker to replace Henry. It could happen, but I don't think Henry's spot in the squad needs to be 'replaced' anymore, as the dynamics of the squad have changed.

If they do buy another striker, it won't hurt the squad, but I think if they are going to buy anyone it should be a left-sided midfielder.

Who needs another striker when you´ve got Theo Walcott, I recon he will explode on the world stage soon.

I watched him against Barnet yesterday. He was obviously rusty but he was really impressive. Once he sharpens up he could shock a few people this season.

He was really good last year until his shoulder injury.

I think he will be playing on the wings this season, though.

Diaby and Denilson will be others to watch out for.

as much as i would love arsenal to win it, i dont think they have the firepower to last the distance

Don't think Arsenal or Liverpool will break into the top two this season. I hope Man Utd win it again.. it will be between them and Chelsea though I think.

Well, everyone thought the same of Man Utd before last season, despite the current revisionism that suggests they and Chelsea have been the top 2 for the last 50 years.

To be honest this has the potential to be one of the more exciting seasons in recent history... Almost every team has been heavily strengthened and apart from Derby I think the promoted clubs have a decent crack at staying up. Mid-table clubs have become stronger so the race for UEFA cup spots will be exciting and I think Liverpool will close in on the top 2.

So innocent.

A surprising prediction.
Chelsea won´t do well this year, Arsenals youth will come through a blinder, Man united lack of chance conversion and imbalance (e.g tevez rooney) will cost them Spurs and Reading will do well. and Liverpool will not only get lucky, they will score lots of goals and win the title.🙂

altohugh they never really had strength in depth, man united was fairly lucky with injuries. rooneym scholes, giggs, and ronaldo were brilliant. and the defence was solid also. with lots of experience.

with arsenal i see only fabregas and van persie. adebayor and rosicky are good but need to score more goals. hopefully this season.

In the friendly tonight Theo was brilliant, again.

Eduardo and Sagna looked great when they came on.

Diaby will be the new Vieira. The man is unbelievable.

Freddie was looking quite good as well, maybe he'll have a resurgence like a few other players have.

Just saw Bayern Munich stuff Bremen 4:1 with some impressive football (on TV) A shame they arn´t in the champions league, they look rather impressive as a unit.

yeh they have signed some good players aswell.
