So it looks like Liverpool are close to getting Babel from Ajax for about 13.5 million pounds

Saw him in the U21 european thing, not bad but surely not first team quality yet.

remember, it is liverpool.

Ooo, that Messi...

"Class in a glass" - ?

Was a great goal.

Oh that was an amazing goal.

That Geordie commentator is the most annoying Ive ever heard, even worse than the US bloke. Apparently all goals are virtually impossible🙂

i hope that commentator dies a quite nasty death

Imagine that guy and David Pleat working together.

who´s david pleat?

liked it so much I made a gif of it.

He was a manager and is now a commentator (well he talks during football matches at least.. usually making no sense at all)

o ye. god he talks crap. so do tossers like john motson and alan smith. sorry for the language but they grind into me when they say stupid things like they do. sometimes i can laugh about it, but only in a very good mood 😠 😠 😠

phew....glad to get that off my chest.

back to predicting the future.
nowadays i can never be sure with united. they can be brilliant, but i always have a feeling in the back of my mind they'll cock up the season. the 1994-95 and 2003-04 seasons spring to mind. i suppose thats why i love united. 90 mins at the nou camp in 1999 and i was almost ready to turn the tv off. good job i didnt. 🙂

I think Rooney and Tevez (if he comes) are both the same sort of player, where are they going to play, one left one right? they´ll get in each others way imo.

How can a transfer be so confusing, this agent virtually owning Tevez (& Mascherano) is sad, how can some one own a person, its like slavery.

messi has women falling at his feet now..

You don't own THEM, you own their registration... As in, theyre registered to play for your club. That's where the problem lies, because the English FA doesn't recognise the legality of Joorabchian having Tevez's registration.

But how can a none club, ie Joorabachian hold a registration?

How did this situation arise are Tevez and Mascherano daft, or are a lot of players registrations held by an agent?

In Brazil and Argentina it's quite common supposedly... In the past it's just always been sorted BEFORE the players arrive in England, but because West Ham clearly couldn't afford the transfer fees for Tevez and Mascherano, the problem arose.

It's a South American thing.

Did anybody hear, Sagna signed for Arsenal, i hope that solves the problem in the defence now. Now, Arsenal only need a winger and another striker would be great to. But winger is a priority.
