I´m the same, although Ive been accused of being a "die hard England fan" just because I made the heinous crime of being happy that England aren´t out yet.
England are average imo, not "shit" and anyone who makes such a comment hasn´t got a clue about football. Arsene Wenger gave positive comments concerning England from what I heard on the radio, and he DOES know what he´s talking about.
The press is what annoy me the most, they over hype everything to appear like England are the best in the world and deserve to win.
Over the top patriotism isn´t good in many ways, it helped start the 2nd world war.
Wenger can say what he likes, it's still his opinion.
Prince is better versed in music than me, but he likes Amy Winehouse. It doesn't mean I know less for liking her, just like I do not know less for having a differing opinion to Arsene Wenger on England.

A few victories, draws or losses do not confirm or deny form. If you keep it up, and keep it up deservedly, you are on good form. England aren't out right now because Israel beat Russia. Relying on Israel is not good form.
I can guarantee that if England beat Croatia, everyone is gonna come in saying they're on good form, forgetting how drastically desperate their situation was.

I dont consider England a world class team, but even by the standard I hold them at they are off form.
Gerrard has been below-par (AC thinks he's shit anyway, but I think he's brilliant but off-form), Terry is injured... the rest of the team arent world class and off form anyway.
