well done to Birmingham for getting a draw at the Emirates, 1-1 it finished. Mcleish has turned that team around I can really see a difference.
Unlucky to Middlesborough or not beating Liverpool, finished 1-1.
I am angered by Aberdeen's lack to keep a lead, 2-1 to Aberdeen after 10minutes, Falkirk equalized around 70th minute. It was a cup game so it means a replay up here MEANING another game thrown into a busy schedule.
yeah up 7 goals on them.
that was more about manchester playing well than newcastle than newcastle playing badly i think.
anybody see ronaldo's first touch on his second goal? he is hands down the best player in the world. you cant compare anyone to him right now. the only thing kaka has that ronaldo doesnt is a champions league medal.

How is Ronaldo the best player in the world? He runs a bit fast and gets round people. The only thing he's doing REALLY well right now is being a prolific goalscorer. One of the best goalscorers maybe, but he's not playing any football that is above and beyond all others.

That's a bit knee-jerk. He's playing really well, and is one of the best performers at the moment. However, when they play a proper team, he literally goes missing.
Luckily for them, there are only two other very good teams in the league, so he plays well for 34 games.
Kaka has that medal because when the teams played, Kaka scored great goals, and Ronaldo read the advertising boards.
I actually favour Messi over Kaka and Ronaldo, Ronaldo is a bit quiet when they play big teams. He was just dire against AC last season.
I cannot believe I forgot about the Man Utd and Newcastle game, I caught the last 15minutes....and that wa 3 goals!
It was more Man Utd being awesome than Newcastle being bad.

have you seen ronaldo play this season or last? name another person that has a bigger influence on a game so consistently or plays better or more entertaining football.

ronaldos showing this year that he doesnt fold in big games. hes got something like 5 champions league goals in 6 games, at least 4 of them i can remember being game winning goals. wait until the lyon man u games next month and we'll have this discussion again.

what else does kaka do than score goals? its not like he creates anything or has any other kind of influence on a game other than a goal every once in awhile. kaka has maybe one play a game you notice and dont get me wrong, sometimes its a great play and i can see why some people think hes good, but the rest of the time you dont even know hes there.have you seen ronaldo play this season or last? name another person that has a bigger influence on a game so consistently or plays better or more entertaining football.
I don't find his kind of football entertaining at all. He gets shut down when they play against anyone decent.
Kaka plays better, more entertaining football, I thought that's what this discussion was about. Ronaldo is benefitting from his form and people loving him at the moment.
He's a prolific scorer so he is having an "impact", against who though? Derby, Reading, Newcastle. Against Milan he did nothing, against Arsenal he scored through someone else's hard work, due to being marked out of the game most of the time.
He isn't that far ahead of Adebayor, and wasn't until Newcastle decided to give the guy a hat trick.

What "big" games have Man U had?

Yep I agree that C. Ronaldo has problems when he has a decent aggressive defender on his heels, and it takes extra class to handle these situations.
The difference between Kaka and C.Ronaldo is effectiveness. C.Ronaldo has all the fancy footwork and tricks which lets face it look good but most the time produce nothing, and he looses the ball. Kaka is more direct and very effective, he doesn´t need many chances to cause utter chaos.
But when it comes down to skill, oversight, ball control and technical ability even though theres a lot of this "he aint good any more" hype in the media.
Ronaldinho is still the best player in the world.

not at the moment he is not. kaka takes that award easily. ronaldinho hasnt even touched his best form this year or last.
Football is a team game, if the others don´t adapt to him well he´s bound to look bad. But look at the way he takes the ball in any situation, his balance and technical skill. Its all still there🙂
Good point there about C.Ronaldo being hated, mainly a media driven thing though after England went out.
Its always wrong to blame one player for some teams performance imo, england went out because they weren´t up to it, lacked professionalism, even kids learn not to react when provoked before they are 11 in the clubs I know.

adeyabor was completely ineffectual in that game, he did absolutely nothing. the one time arsenal didnt have 2 people marking ronaldo out of the game he popped up in the box and scored. i would be happy to compare the teams adebayor scored against to the teams ronaldo scored against.
and man, i dont know if you saw those goals, but newcastle didnt give them to him, he took them.
he didnt score against reading and he scored a penatly against derby because he takes the penalties. pretty sure it was adebayor that scored a hat trick against derby.

thats fine if you dont like him, but dont make excuses.
And it's fine if you like him, but he's not the best player in the world.
To suggest he's better than Messi or Pato, Ronaldinho, Henry, Robinho etc is ludicrous.

What game? I'm talking about scoring.
Yes, a Newcastle in turmoil. Not to mention that Man United undeservedly (But obviously) have a psychological edge over teams BECAUSE they are Man United. The only teams that don't seem to give a shit are Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham.

Oh yeah, my bad.
Anyway, the point is, I'm not saying he isn't good, I'm saying to call him the best player in the world is silly.

Arsenal didn't have two men marking him. They didn't even have one; Clichy just covered all his forward runs, and had Ronaldo in his pocket all game. If Clichy was marking him he'd have come over into the centre for that cross- the reason Ronaldo was free was because Eboue came off, and Toure had to move over to help cover Evra and Giggs as Walcott wasn't tracking back properly.
