So far, Arsenal is a buying club consider Ramsey and Nasri cost money, while Flamini and Lehmann left on a free transfer.
And if Adebayor goes, Wenger will sign a replacement, may it be Huntelaar, Gomez, Santa Cruz, or Martins.
I'd prefer Huntelaar. Santa Cruz had a lucky season.
Martins I can see doing well, but it could also go arse up.

That's how I see it personally. Arsenal are not a selling club that can't keep onto its players until it actually loses players without gaining other world class ones. If the club loses Adebayor and Hleb without buying anymore players, then I'll agree.
I agree with Huntelaar. Him and Van Persie would be a perfect front, and he's better in the air than Santa Cruz.
AC, have you seen Gorcuff play? Supposedly he'll be included in the deal with AC Milan if Arsenal sells Adebayor.
i think huntelaar is overrated. ive seen him play 15 or 20 times and every time hes been really unimpressive, even when he scores. ive watched all his highlight reels as well and theres no really spectacular or individual goals, just someone crossing and him finishing without anyone marking him properly.
im not saying he cant do it, i just havent seen him do it. did i just miss the good perfomances?
That's what makes him such an invaluable player.
He isn't going to do what Zidane, Henry or Ronaldo (The best one) did at their prime. He's going to pop up in the box and score that goal a minute from time that earns three valuable points.
He's a poacher, one of the best in the world at it. It's not pretty, but it's a skill, and I can see him scoring a lot of goals if he came to Arsenal. Not that we really need one, we have Eduardo who has that, and also a lot of skill.
Win or lose the Premier League title, I'm just extremely excited to see Nasri and Eduardo playing this season. Admittedly I think this season is going to be somewhat transitional, with Flamini, Hleb and possibly Gilberto leaving, Vela and Nasri coming in, finding the right balance. You never know, though.
Arshavin's agent seems certain he'd love to join Arsenal, and I'd love that, but I can't see it.

Like who? Gomes (Has that even happened yet?), Modric?-AC
Zokora, Kaboul, Modric, Ghaly... i'm sure there was one more as well. Yea, 3 of em are pretty rubbish, but they did all declare they liked Arsenal before signing lol.
And no, we're struggling to get a work permit because we arent Man Utd and therefore have to actually honour that rule.
Wenger isn't bothered, neither am I really.
I have every bit of faith that Hleb's contributions can be equalled via an alternate style of playing or through someone else, if not surpassed. Here's hoping Nasri fits right in.
Everything is there to make a team capable of terrorising anyone. Not many teams can handle Walcott's pace as it is, now there's Nasri and we've already seen what Vela has done against the best teams in Spain.
I hope it all works out, but I'm just prepared to be patient. I've already "waited" (If you can call it that) a few years for a trophy, makes no sense getting agitated now. I have every faith Arsenal will continue playing great football, trophy or not.

I think the media are blowing it out of proportion.
My only concern is that with Gilberto now gone, the midfield area is definitely looking thin, and that has always been an area where we've been best.
Other than that, I don't really think it's a big deal. If we got over Henry leaving, we'll get over Hleb leaving, Gilberto leaving (Who was hardly there anyway) and Flamini leaving. The latter being the biggest loss, and to be honest, I wish Diarra hadn't been so impatient, but that's life.

Denilson and Fabregas could prove a successful partnership. But yea, it's starting to look decidedly weak in the middle.
Fabregas will be brilliant with any partner though, he is an incredible player and a quality character. got loads of time for him even if he does play for Arsenal.
Miguel Veloso would be a good buy, good on the ball, solid defensively, young and pacey (pacey enough for the DM role anyway)... seems perfect for Arsenal.
