i really didnt think keane would go but its official, liverpool signed him today.

i understand why ramos did it though. whats the point in havin a player that doesnt want to play for you. **** off the players who want to go elsewhere. use the money and buy someone who does want to play for you.

Now my brain must decide whether I drop him from my fantasy football team as a mark of allegiance to the mighty Spurs.

Then, I would need to decide whether to replace him with another possible turncoat: Dimitar Berbatov.

Furthermore, which teams do people think are going to do well this season? Surprise packages? Which of the promoted teams are looking strongest? Will Fulham have another season scraping the bottom of the barrel, or will they improve? Discuss things like this...

well i expect the 3 teams that came up will go straight back down. especially those tesco carrier bags *spits* Even though stoke have signed olifinjana from wolves for 3 million (he aint that good), they wont stop up.

fulham will do much better if they can keep bullard fit. United for the title again. liverpool will come closer to the title while arsenal will drift further away. I dare to say that liverpool will finish close second this season. I also expect scolari to punch ferguson during a game.

For 5th place i reckon everton. Maybe spurs if they can replace keane.

oh and Wolves will get promoted from the championship of course.

Just read about the Keane move, apparently Keane´s a Liverpool fan and thinks Torres is the best striker in the world 😱

Im a Liverpool fan and am not sure about the Keane move for that much money, Mario Gomez would have been a better option imo, if he was available, & no Torres isn´t the best striker in the world.

As for the league.

I recon the following teams will be up there fighting for the title or a place in the Cl. Man united, Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle.

Newcastle?? I hear many say, I recon they will hit a good form this season for some reason, maybe the Keegan inspiration and owen fighting for his England place.

Chelsea have got the wrong recipy imo, and "big phil" will end up smacking someone, probably Abromovich if he tries picking the team🙂

chelsea or united will challenge for sure, liverpool suck and will finish 10 points behind everybody else again. arsenal sold 2 of their best performing players from last season so its a hard one to call. who knows though, they have the players with the potential to step up and if rvp and rosicky can stay fit that'll be like like having 2 new players anyway. i think they'll be strong again but how strong depends on a lot of things. they should be 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

the 3 that came up will go straight back down. fulham'll probably suck again but they still have more class than the 3 other clubs that just came up.

okay after watching the game v stuttgart arsenal dont seem to miss them at all. its a little premature but i think they'll be first or second and probably play the best football again.

that was definitely the best pre season attacking performance ive seen by a team so far this summer.

unless they buy some more players, they will fall short again im afraid

I thought Giovani Dos Santos was a Ronaldinho/Messi type player, but according to some of the stories I've read it seems like he's going to be playing on the wing...

Whatever type of player, he's brilliant... he's already scored twice and assisted 4 goals in preseason haha.

modric is looking pretty good in the game im watching now. hes a little small, isnt quite up to the physical challenges that ive seen him in. hes running the team well though.
