then

.........gomez

hutton...woodgate..king....bale

.......huddlestond...modric...
bentley............................dos santon

......................arshavin
................................berbatov

thats what i wud do but i think ramos will play huddlestone and jenas in the middle and modric on the left. santos will be rotated around

Both teams look great, but I don't see how Ramos is going to play Modric, Dos Santos, Arshavin, and Bentley in the same team! Also, I can't see him dropping Jenas.

My guess is it will look like this:

........gomez

hutton...woodgate..king....bale

.......huddlestone...Jenas...
bentley............................Modric

......................arshavin
................................berbatov

Poor ol' Dos Santos will probably be rotated in and out. Still, that's a great looking team.

What about Arsenal and Man Utd? Who's going to be in midfield and upfront for Arsenal? Also, do you think Anderson will be a first choice for Man Utd? What about Carrick and Hargreaves? Nani? A penny for your thoughts...

I didn't think I'd ever see the day a Liverpool fan was delusional.

We've already got Zakora, Huddlestone, Jenas, Taarabt, Modric, Dos Santos, Lennon, and now Bentley, but apparently we're still after Arshavin...Why?

Where's that tough-tackling DM we need? Also, where's our new striker? Mummy?

I don't get it to be honest. The signings have been good*, but scoring goals was never an issue. No defensive strengthening at all.

*If hideously overpriced, barring dos Santos.

I think Modric was well-priced, but I'd agree that Bentley cost too much. Dos Santos was a bargain, and he was a great coup for us, but that makes me think he must have been given assurances that he'd be playing regularly. However, if we get Arshavin, I can't see how he'll get a game.

My guess is that Ramos has got a lot of faith in Huddlestone for the DM role. The guy can pass beautifully, but can he do other stuff good, too?

bentley is overated to be honest and way overpriced. still we'll see.

if i was arsenal i would start experimenting with 4-4-3. it will be interesting to see what he does with walcott.

this is what i would do:

well in goal almunia i think?

.........sagna......toure....gallas......cliche

.............................diaby

..................fabregas....rosicky/nasri

...........van persie..................,walcott

.............................adebayor

but this is what it will probably be

4-4-2
sagna toure gallas cliche
nasri fabregas diaby walcott
van persie adebayor

I think Whinger will start with Denilson ahead of Diaby, and it'll be Rosicky and Nasri in midfield with Walcott on the bench again.

What about United?

united have a few injuries so it'll be a little makeshift for the first few weeks of the season.

..............van der sar

....brown....vidic....ferdinard....evra

...nani....scoles...........carrick....giggs

...........tevez.............rooney

nanis suspended for the first two games as well so fletcher will probably be playing out on the wing.

man, we really have to sign a striker before this season begins.

not sure with united. wud be interestin to see if fergie chooses neville over brown. personally i would stick with brown. also will ronaldo sit on the bench for the most part of the season? if he pisses fergie off enough then it wouldnt surprise me.

plus i think you will see a lot of rotation in the midfield. its hard to pick a team.

i think

.........sar

brown...ferdinand...vidic... evra

hargreaves....anderson..scholes...ronaldo

..........teves.........rooney

what do u think?

He would be the best player there.

Arsenal, I'm fairly sure, will be Almunia, usual defence, Ade/RVP up front.

Midfield: Theo Denilson/Diaby Fabregas Nasri/Rosicky (when fit).

Looking like Denilson at the moment, as he's playing really well.

I was referring to Dos Santos.

Oh.

I read it'll be 4-2-3-1.

So that'd be...Gomes, Hutton King (hahaha, Dawson) Woodgate Bale

2 of Fattlestone Jenas Zokora.

Bentley Dos Santos Modric

Bent.

DM looks poor, and I still think Bale is a left midfielder.

wheres berbatov?

at united 😄

And Ronaldo´s at Real 🙂

not this year

i hope he goes next year. we wont be as good obviously, but i dont want a player that doesnt want to be there and i think its obvious what he wants.

personally i see it as:

----------------Gomes--------------
Hutton - King (ha) - Woody - BAE
Bentley - Jenas - Modric - Bale
-------------Dos Santos------------
--------------Bent------------------

That makes it a bit more balanced imo, Jenas will sit deeper, but both Modric and Jenas are workhorses so theyll be covering everywhere.

I'm pretty sure Modric will start on the left, and Huddlestone and Jenas will be in the middle. I can't see your line-up working because we really need someone to just sit in front of the back-four. Having Bale and Hutton as full-backs, with their attacking intent, means we're going to need some cover there.

'e didn't have Bale as FB.

Fabianski is going to be the best keeper in the EPL 3 years from now. He will push Almunia for the starting position this season and be what Lehmann was for the Invincibles.
