I was joking, Kovac.

I know. I didn't take offence. 😉

Man Utd lost their third league game last year, Phat. Liverpool were undefeated in their first...five? I wouldn't worry.

It wasn't like they played well enough to win, they played well enough to draw. It was a mistake that got them their win, and this was an uncharacteristically good performance from Liverpool, given their current form.

Yes, but Man Utd played so fabulously badly. I'm still revelling in that...

dont remind me.

i dont care how many goals you score or how much gels in your hair, flicking your legs around like a spastic looks stupid and isnt fooling anyone.

Thats the best stepover critism Ive ever heard.

The worrying thing is it does fool some players, defenders shouldn´t crash in, but patiently wait till the stepover merchant has finished then take the ball of him

This is the problem with Liverpool fans;

Too concerned with how everyone else plays.

they played well until van der sars little moment. not that it matters, being scored on is no excuse to play shit and be second to everything.

Anyone see the Bundesliga game (or highlights) Dortmund 3:3 Schalke 04

That was an odd game, especially the refereeing. Schalke were 3:0 up then two players got red carded, should have been 3, (Rafinha committed far worse fouls, even smacked another player).

Dortmund came back but 2 of the 3 goals shouldn´t have been allowed 1 was 2 meters offside, the other a penalty for a hand ball which obviously wasn´t.

The Bundesliga´s normally boring but this Derby always brings about odd games.

Schalke better get some dicipline in their team otherwise they´r gonna get wrecked in the champions league.

Real Madrid had another shaky game winning 4:3 against a newly premoted team. Their defense looks very dodgy indeed.

A.C. Milan are almost rock bottom.

Two games, two losses, I think.

That's actually pretty funny. It's about time. The average age of their team must be about 35. Ancelotti seems to have no ingenuity in the transfer market, instead buying big name players (who are passed it- i.e, Shevchenko and Ronaldinho). Is thathis fault or do they actually have some kind of director of football?
Anyway, Milan are ****ed. They're not going down, of course, but they're not going to challenge Inter (or perhaps even Roma, Juve and Fiorentina) until they either get a new manager or at least a new transfer policy.

From what I saw (the highlights on ZDF, I believe) it was a pretty exciting game. Great shot by Frei, even though he obviously was offside.

And Shalke are out of the CL aren't they?

I believe they lost to Atletico.

And, on a completely different note... at least Alan Hansen though LFC played well:

they should be scoring goals though, ronaldhino, kaka, sheva, pato in the second half. the backline is the only really old part of their team, everywhere else is just about the right age compared to most teams.

I can't believe I wrote "passed it". I feel ashamed.

I just spoke to that guy over there by the telephone, and he said that everyone's pointing at you and calling you a loser.

PS. Go Spurs! You make me so proud. So very, very proud.

Good old Spurs and Liverpool. The teams that win the league until the football starts.

Oh yeh I remember now 😱

Oh well another one of my predictions go9ne wrong, Spurs is sitting rock bottom instead of being up there in the top 5.

But its early days yet, I wonder if Man U will explode soon and storm to the top, whilst the top teams take points of each other.

They lost their third game last season.

Then again, Ronaldo had a freak season. If it weren't for him they probably would have finished third.

superb goal be gerrard

and wolves win again and still top of the league...ohhh sweet

I'm going to be supporting Cluj (I pronounce it 'Cludge', regardless of whatever anyone else says) in this year's Champion's League. They have a great name, the team's made-up of vampires and the undead, and they score nifty goals.

Go Cluj!

PS. Next year, I'll be supporting Spurs in the Chamption's League.

That Cludge bloke's goal was better.

Good on yer, AC. The Cludger scored a couple of beauts. He's now worth 20 million, and Spurs will be buying him in January.

its a shame wolves wont be able to face spurs in the premier league next season when we get promoted. i was looking forward to the boys givin em a whoopin

oh well
