Its a conspiracy to stop the English clubs dominating Europe😱 😱 😆 ...every one of the English games could be the final. Jammy Bayern München always get the lucky draw.

Going through I´d say.

Liverpool, Inter, Chelsea, Arsenal, Barca, Villareal, Athletico & Bayern.

Athletico could be the dark horse of this tournament, they are playing nice footy at the mo.

I'd rather have Real win but LFC will probably take it, especially now that Real are missing 6 or 7 important players.

Man Utd.

I've always been a Juventus fan (even after all the scandals, yes), so I'd rather have them win it, but I think Chelsea will take it.

Normally I'd say Arsenal, but my gut tells me Roma will probably take it. My gut is usually right, so...

Barca

Villareal

Atletico

Bayern

Man Utd are going to the San Siro, and with Inter's defending being what it is, I can see them grabbing away goals.

mmm i can see the special one pulling off an upset against united while arsenal and chelsea beat there opposition. rafa will be tactically spot on again no doubt and will make it hard for madrid

AKA luck.

the arsenal roma games are gonna be great and probably the most unpredictable. i could see either of them going through.

none of the others stand out to me, maybe mourinho v ferguson. thats just because man utd are my team and i like mourinho though.

How would Inter beating Manchester United be an 'upset'? Last season, Inter were said to be the best team in the World by an awful lot of people, while Mourinho also is regularly touted the best, certainly one of the best, managers in the World. I fail to see how Inter beating anyone is much of an upset. It's hardly on the level of Hereford/ Newcastle or Barnsley/ Liverpool, is it?

And Liverpool will beat Madrid. I don't see how Liverpool's regular success in Europe (2 finals, 1 semi, in 4 seasons) can always be down to "luck", Mr. Von Doom. How lucky can a team really be?

apparently pretty lucky, you just have to have seen the games to know that.

Just noticed Man United are in the final of some " world club championships" against LDU de Quito.

Presumably the Copa Del Liberatadores winners.

Is any channel showing this game tomorrow night?

i think setanta is in england. it'd be at 1030 in the morning in the uk though, its being played in japan.

Ghost goal versus Chelsea? Penalty for the dive in the CL final? (Those two incidents being part of a run to a CL win that contained more luck than teams get in years) Giving Gerrard a penalty the other day because he needed it? Kuyt foul on Hleb? Babel dive?

Jamie Carragher's various manhandlings of opponents in his own box?

Lucky this season against Boro, Sunderland, Man City, Atletico, Liege.

Players sent off when their team happened to go in front? An average goalscoring time earlier this season of the 91st minute?

But for stupid decisions and scraped wins, Liverpool would have been mid-table years ago.

The year they got beaten in the final was relatively luck-free, but then, if you keep your whole squad fresh by scraping into 4th, you should do better than the teams actually trying to win other stuff. Some years they don't even do that, lest we forget the year they 'qualified' from 5th.

Let's not forget how their only two recent trophy wins were won on penalties.

F.A. Cup to West Ham United, in which they got the equaliser in stoppage time, and Champions' League, which they only got to because they earned a penalty through diving.
