You appear to be insinuating that Liverpool are a bit lucky sometimes. 😱 🤣
Arsenal are gonna have problems now with their attempt to break the" injured players" world record.
Fab will be well missed, a very important player.
A Statistic in the European Championships (countries) comes to mind, that he was the player who´s assists created the most goals or goal scoring situations in the tournament, even though he didn´t play many full games.
As the League goes I can see Man United pouncing to take the title eventually, they have 2 games in hand. The teams up top, ie Chelsea and Liverpool are dropping to many points and not taking the opportunity to put some points between them and their rivals.

wow, how lucky have arsenal been so far in this match?i guess if any team deserves it it'd be them but i feel sorry for villa.
I see "Lucky" Liverpool won 3:0, should have been 6 though considering the domination and goal area situations.
"luck" doesn´t exist, things happen and on higher level of sport small mistakes cost dearly, ie goals happen. Its these small mistakes that decide games at the top level, whether it be someone being daft enough to get red carded, giving a penalty away or any other reason. These passing of events cannot be described as "luck" all the time, even if the referee gave some bad decisions, it is his mistake not the winning teams "luck".
Yep Ive opened that can of worms again🙂

The thing is, you either genuinely think Liverpool aren't lucky, or you open "cans" to play Devil's advocate and be a mug.
Either way, you're stupid.

To be honest I´m sick of people using "luck" as an excuse for their teams miserable form or their opponents success. These people are brainless fools who have no grasp of life and football in general imo.
Why can´t posters have a discussion about the sport instead of resorting to "der wheres my brain, er they were just lucky thats why they won derrrrr"

Arsenal played much better football and finished above Liverpool last season, it's still luck that they finished fourth, which they scraped for. Arsenal were lucky to beat Spurs to 4th that one time. Every team has luck circumstance, however, Arsenal had a legitimately poor season by their standards.
Liverpool were as Liverpool always are. There's a reason why they haven't won their own league since Arsenal beat them to it, and there's a reason that you can pull factual accounts out of the bag to prove why their most recent trophy wins were tainted.
The C.L. final especially. Maybe not the F.A. Cup final, but they won that in a fashion that wasn't convincing.
The funny thing is, you're the one who sits there poking "fun" at Arsenal and Arsenal fans, then you get annoyed at people doing it to Liverpool. The fact of the matter is, Arsenal would have won the league last year, quite likely, had they not been victims of injuries and factual bad decisions. No need to say "That's how the game goes.", because I'm not petitioning for the game to be played any other way. If we lose, we lose, but the facts can't be denied. Man City and Villa beat Arsenal because Arsenal played shit and for the most part, are having a massively frustrating season. That is down to inconsistency, and that inconsistency is down to the fact that again, we are suffering with massive injuries.
When we say "luck", we don't actually mean an otherworldly force that makes Liverpool do well. It's just fortune that they do not necessarily deserve. They aren't playing like champions, they aren't performing like champions and the fact of the matter is, a lot of their wins or draws are not without controversy. They scrape a goal in the 80th minute, get a dodgy penalty or something similar. The opposite happens with Arsenal, though. It's not some divine force conspiring for or against either team, and as much as it might seem like we believe it, we obviously know there's no literal conspiracy against or for either team.
It's just that almost every time Liverpool play a game, they are benefitting from fortune, and when fortune abandons them, they get beaten or held. Scraping 1-0 wins is fine, but earn the 1-0 win. If a 1-0 win, undeserved, won Arsenal the title; I'd be happy, sure. Only for the players, though. Not for me, because that's not what Arsenal, or any good team, should be about.
It's a rare occassion when Liverpool beat a team 3-0 without there being any way to criticise them. If it were a regular occurance, you'd not have made note of their win.
Gerrard is rated as this heartbeat and Liverpudlian engine, when all he does is pelt shots at the goal and reap Pele-esque praise when one goes in. As Andy Gray said, and didn't mean to imply; "Don't keep giving him sighters.". In other words; "He's missed loads of chances but will eventually score one if they keep coming.".
They have no players that can truly be regarded as outstanding or brilliant. Gerrard is their best player and he's not even England's best midfielder, Torres isn't anywhere close to being as good as everyone likes to think.
Aston Villa gave Arsenal more trouble in the opening minutes than Liverpool did when Arsenal had 10 men.
The fact of the matter is, Liverpool are a very, very fortuitous team playing decidedly mediocre football at BEST. Your reply will be "It doesn't matter, what matters is the result.", which is fine. If all you care about is where your team ends up at the end of the season, then whatever, but don't deny the fortune they have, because it's always there to be seen.

My "luck" rant wasn´t about Liverpool or Arsenal, but a comment on the general depth of intelligence of some comments using the words luck in various situations.
Arsenal are a top team (when the team arn´t all injured), and I like the way they play and their youth system. So I don´t think I attacked them too often as far as I can remember (when i was sober anyway).
Your the one who constantly "hounds" Liverpool, ignoring when they play well like the other days 3:0 win, and jumping to comment like a man who just won the lottery, when they win by a small margin, or if the opponent lost a player to a red card, etc and calling it "luck".
Pathetic really.

Yeah, that'd be why I commended Keane, a player I dislike, on a great finish against the team I support.
I cite everything that Liverpool owe to fortune because their fans, generally, seem to feel there's no such thing as luck, and they deserve all they get.
