Liverpool are a perverse team; even when they scores lots of goals, I still find them really dull to watch.

almost as dull as watchin spurs lose to west brom. the spells of harry houdini are wearing off it seems 🙂

we've all been there, i just thought it was funny.

anybody watch any other leagues than the premier league?

ive always watched 30 or 40 games of serie A a year but this year more so than others ive really noticed how much more skilled the players seem to be compared to the premiership. i dont know if its coaching or what but they just seem to play more attractive team oriented football.

The same with the Spanish league, it appears more technical because they don´t just attack none stop like the lunatics in the Premier league.

They pass the ball about a lot more and try and stay in possesion. Maybe because of the climate I don´t know.

It's possibly to do with having 5 defenders and 5 defensive midfielders.

I find them frustrating to watch, cause the should score more goals and not loose the ball too often

whatever it is, it makes for better football.

how bout that aston villa? another own goal for a 1 nil win. to be fair that probably would've been finished by agbonlahor if zayate didnt make contact but its funny how it goes sometimes.

I dunno if it would have.

Myhill had that post ALMOST covered from Zayette, so if it had taken a bit longer to get to Agbonlahor, I think he'd have covered it.

it was coming at an awkward height to, who knows? i like the competition for 4th place though, too bad its arsenal in the fight for it.

it'd be a little more entertaining if it was liverpool.

That's the weird thing, really.

This early, it's a bit shit if all you're guaranteed is top three placement and not first. It feels like you're just waiting out the season.

I'd rather be competing for first or fourth, from an enjoyment standpoint. Obviously, I don't think Arsenal will end up outside the top four. I think that if they did, then we can talk about a crisis, but I seriously doubt that's gonna happen.

That said, if Villa do it, they'll never do it again. Everyone is just on an amazing run of form.

I think Villa are playing well at the mo and might get a place in the CL quali, ie 4th at Arsenals expense, mainly due to Arsenals ever growing injury list.

I hope Gerrard won´t get locked up for brawling, he´s a very inspirational players to Liverpool.

They've done fine without him.

That inspiration is a myth.

villa have been playing like shit though lately and they still getting results. they played great against arsenal but other than that they've been poor in the past few games.

if any manager can break into the top 4 i think martin oneill can do it with villa. it didnt happen overnight, hes made them a good team over a couple years. still tough for someone to break in there though on a regular basis, the team that are struggling now could well win the league next year.

Arsenal will finish 5th this season. I can feel it in me bones. Villa are a nice team to watch, and that Young lad is excellent.

Who's everyone gonna buy this January? I keep hoping 'Arry is going to spring one of his Euro finds on us...Some kind of Diarra defensive-midfield freak and a tall, strong, skillful, fast striker from Kenya or something. I'm really not interested in Bellamy or Crouch, but I'd welcome little ol' Defoe back.

Ars-havin for Whinger's Arseholes? Arteta to use his tete and stay put?

He said something that proves my continual point:

"We didn't play well because all the effort we put in against Arsenal took a lot out of us.".

As soon as teams play Arsenal, they put out maximum effort. Anyone else can wait.

why are arsenal linked with arshavin. not a smart buy considering the forwars they already have.

arsenal have resorted to playing silvestre at the back. comon please

buy a centre back and a centre midfielder

They have no wingers.

Although to actually answer the question, probably because it fills up some column inches.

of course they're more up for that game, they're the main competition for 4th place and arsenal are part of the big 4 teams in england.

its not a conspiracy man, teams get up more for big games.

Like Newcastle on Sunday.
