I deserve to get beaten up for supporting a different 11 men playing a sport than someone else?

You made this claim, and you're coming at ME? You SERIOUS, man?

You wouldn't wear a Celtic shirt while going to a Rangers pub anf if you did I wouldn't pity you, you'd be asking for it. The world isn't fair, there is no point complaining about this sort of stuff, you're a dickhead for pissing of native fans, don't shit on your own doorstep... You wouldn't shit on anyone else's.

The difference is that you consider me wearing a different country's football shirt to be shitting on this country. I'm not. I'm supporting players I prefer and showing that by wearing a shirt. That's like saying I deserve to get beat up by West Ham fans because I'm an East Londoner supporting a North London club.

It's garbage and it's that kind of surface level, troglodite, cave-man thinking that breeds racism. You hate someone for wearing a different shirt, you'd hate someone for their skin colour, you'd hate someone for their sexuality. None of it matters and none of it affects your life, but if it DOES matter to you, then you're a prejudiced fool.

The fact of the matter is, if a German came into an English pub wearing an England kit and started cheering against his own country, what's a more likely scenario; him being supported or him being abused? Exactly.

He'd be supported before getting abused, because it's all ok when you support England. Heaven forbid you support anyone else.

The very fact that you would look at someone's mother or father, with their son in a hospital bed or worse as a result of such an attack, and say: "He deserved it.", is what makes you a really terrible person.

I'm arrogant, I can be an ass, but you're on another level.

I may be the kind of fan football could do without... But at least I'm not such a negative bastard 100% of the time. Football aside you're a prick, people tip-toe around you while you beat them down thread after thread. Do you ever sit down and ask yourself "What is wrong with me?". If you have any friends in the real world I pity them and I forecast you'll die alone.

Yeah, I honestly care more about the dust on my windowsill than your opinion of me. Regardless, I debate and that makes people mad if they can't handle it. I may be arrogant, I may be a prick to some, but I'm not out there advocating harm on anyone in any serious way.

One of the people I've known longest in my life is a Spurs fan. There are Spurs fans that wouldn't hesitate to stab and kill me, there are Arsenal fans that'd do the same to him...and that kind of person is the kind of person you are, except more extreme.

With that said and done, I'm going to be real with you. You get to call me a prick when you're not saying things like how I deserve to get beaten up for wearing a Brazil shirt, son.

Do YOU ever read this shit back and consider what's wrong with YOU? Advocating violence or condoning violence on a person for wearing a different football shirt?

We all die alone, dude.

Well the case of Celtic and Rangers was a bit extreme wasn't it? That has a lot of roots in the sectarian violence in Ireland. IRA, UDF, etc etc etc.

Also, that's literal antagonism; going into a pub wearing an opposing teams shirt that DOES have a lot of that violent history.

I'm talking about almost getting run over on the way around to my friend's house for wearing a Brazil shirt.

Maybe it wasn't for the brasil shirt... Maybe they just knew you. That's it, I'm done. I won't post in this thread for a while. You're not worth it. Get laid bud.

Spooney R.I.P., like the title says. You can't come at me. You couldn't before and you can't now.

See you next time, just make sure to remember that next time.

Such a ****ing disgrace. Just when I forgot about it, you had to bring it up.

If France is going to get knocked out this year, I just hope it isn't an ownage the likes of EURO 08 against the Netherlands. Is some semblance of their previous dominance too much to ask?

People need to stop being dramatic over that. It was no worse than the dives that no-one gets vilified for (unless they're not English).

A foul is cheating. Claiming a throw that isn't yours. In many ways worse, since you know full well it isn't.

^ I agree I was rather dramatic. However, without belittling matches with similar circumstances (last year's Chelsea VS. Barca CL Semi-Final comes to mind), the stakes of this particular match were arguably much higher.

In no way do I mean to vilify Henry (he's actually one of my favorite players). Whether or not it was pressure from the media or elsewhere, I admired him for admitting his mistake. My gripe rests with FIFA and its officials with how they handled the situation.

FIFA can be rather stupid at times.

Their decision to not implement goal-line technology is one thing that comes to my mind.

Maybe FIFA don´t want any technology because it would stop their world wide game fixing scam.

Did anyone see the Valencia V Bremen game last week, talk about kamikaze football I loved the way both teams attacked really enjoyable game (1:1), the Ref made some bad decisions though. And David Silva is one of best balanced technical players Ive seen, his movement is amazing.

A shame Valencia are 650 Million in dept.

comon you wolves

I see Arsenal had to jiff a win against our crap 10 man team.

How?

Campbell's tackles?

1. You got a goal from a penalty that shouldn't have been. Now, the TACKLE was a foul, so yes, that would have been a penalty had Vennegoor been onside. He wasn't, though, so play should have been stopped anyway. You got a penalty you shouldn't have.

2. Sol'd second tackle was perfect. He got the ball clearly on all replays.

Is it that Sol should've had a red because Phil Brown said? It wasn't a goal-scoring opportunity, the ball was literally resting on Vennegoor's neck...behind him when Campbell knocked him down.

Still, Phil Brown is an idiot and it's no surprise to hear him make such claims. Let's not forget his classic: "Fabregas shouldn't be on the pitch dressed like that." remark.

What else did you have beef with?

Was it Bendtner breaking your heart in stoppage time, or was it Arshavin ghosting two of your defenders and scoring a goal?

The only jiff in that game was your goal.

After constant replays nobody believes Sol should've got a red for the tackle on Zayette (Nor should it be a free kick, he got the ball), and the tackle on Vennegoor that lead to a pen was not a goal-scoring chance. Also, it was offside and play should have been stopped.

Let's examine Hull's best case scenario: Had play gone on, Vennegoor not gone down and Hull scored, that would have been a jiff goal because he was offside.

So, Mr. Scholar, tell me where I'm wrong. I love that you call me a bitter Arsenal fan when you're actually accusing Arsenal of jiff, despite Hull being the only team in that game who had fortune go their way.

And Boateng's sending off wasn't luck. The **** should have been sent off for the scuffle with Bendtner. He shouldn't have had the chance to almost break Sagna's leg.

That was below par by Arsenal. But, the team was down in many areas, and they still played hard. Arshavin really miffed a bunch of chances unfortunately. It wasn't his day after his goal.

So...Phil Brown...psh...pshahaha.

-AC

No more Dave Beckham! Out on injury, possibly for life with a torn achilles. What do you lot think about that?

Personally, I think it IMPROVES Englands chances, I've never really liked Beckham, I think he's egotistical and not really that spectacular of a player.

It may sound sad, but I´m glad Beckham is out of the World Cup.

He is way past his best and there are better, faster, fitter players who deserve a place in the team.

Exactly what I was thinking. He's become more of a figurehead than an actual good player over the last few years. Hopefully this will give way for younger talent to make themselves known, I'm really having some high hopes for England this summer, I think we can really bring home the cup.

Considerin AC banged on about Liverpool getting wins last season by late jiffing goals, yet Arsenal have done it 9 times already this season.

While I do agree Beckham is past his prime, I'm probably one of the few that think England is better with him than without him.

Either way you cut it, it's a pretty unfortunate situation.

Of which maybe 2 were in games where Arsenal wasn't dominant. Liverpool jiffed it because they never controlled games. They just got lucky at the end.
