Oh getting interesting the championship race now, Injuries could be the key. With Rooney out Man U look a bit toothless imo, and on the other side Arsenal keep marching on no matter how many players are out, this highlights the differences in approach both teams have.
Chelsea would normally be favourites now, especially with them having no CL games to play. But they have blips in form now and again so who knows.
They're not quite champions yet but it looks likely. I agree with you though, it really has done the club a lot of good. The club has found some stability on and off the pitch.
Hopefully Mike Ashley pumps in a decent amount of money for the summer transfer period and they can make a good fist at the premier league next season. (Something like Birmingham have done this season would be great.)
Hopefully in a few years we'll see NUFC pushing for Europe again.
I don't think Arsenal will win the league, and I'm not gonna be surprised if they end up trophyless.
With that said, we're winning games we would have lost a season or two ago. There've been far less 1-0 losses or draws that shouldn't have been. We haven't been screwed out of too many decisions, but injuries have been our main plague yet again.
I maintain, as I always have, that silverware is coming for Arsenal. It's just a matter of time. There's a constant and steady improvement.

Messi is special, Barca would be significantly worse without him.
Given the team we had and our injuries, there's no way we could deal with Messi and it showed. He's not the kind of player you can play a less than full-strength team against.

There's no "Here we go again.", because you're wrong and dodge any and all replies proving so.

Another year in which Arsenal fail in europe, then again i suppose you can only jiff so many results in a season.
Yes, we failed with five or more major first team injuries against an already formidable team with the current world's best player, one of the best of all time, on scintillating form. Oh how terrible Arsenal are.
Where are Hull City again?
Speaking of Hull City, you're a lot like the team you support, really.
I say that because, like them, nobody can ever really take you seriously. That and the sooner you retreat back to the depths you came from, the better, as all you do is show up to get whooped and embarrass yourself. Ashamed that even your greatest achievements are not up to par with Arsenal's worst failings. Even at Arsenal's worst, they're a chasm above Hull City.
It's adorable, but sad. Kinda like an older, impotent man dissing a younger, better male for having a urinary tract infection. Sure, the younger man's got problems, but at the very least he's not firing blanks.
Still, I suppose Hull City will do better against Barc...oh wait, no Champions' League for them. Well, there's always a chance to face Liverpool in the Europa Lea...oh, no Europa League for them either. Hmm...West Brom?
