There's no "Here we go again.", because you're wrong and dodge any and all replies proving so.

I didn´t dodge anything, but gave large accounts containing irrefutable evidence, where as you just kept going on about a beach ball.

Another year in which Arsenal fail in europe, then again i suppose you can only jiff so many results in a season.

I heard on the radio that no London club has ever won the European cup/CL, is this true?

Messi is special, Barca would be significantly worse without him.

Given the team we had and our injuries, there's no way we could deal with Messi and it showed. He's not the kind of player you can play a less than full-strength team against.
-AC

Arsenal could have had full strength with an extra player & still lost, Messi scored the goals and his finishing was second to none but Barca´s possession, team play and total domination was the key factor. It was like an adult team playing against some youth team the class difference was so vast.

What got me is how some Arsenal players resorted to what Arsenal complain about in the PL, kicking the technically superior opponent.

Inter might have a chance if they can frustrate Barca with solid defense and hope for a goal from the odd attack. Apart from that they are in a different league imo

As far as I know the only English winners have been Liverpool, Man U, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa.

No, you dodged all the posts in which I defeated your argument. My last, very relevant reply was unreplied to.

Barca's total dominance WAS Messi.

You say "some youth team", but Arsenal had half a team. In the first leg we were missing Van Persie and Ramsey, Fabregas was majorly injured, Gallas and Arshavin went off.

Barca are an amazing and phenomenal team who I hope go on to win, I am a big fan and hold no shame with this defeat, but to deny factors is dumb.

Yes, we failed with five or more major first team injuries against an already formidable team with the current world's best player, one of the best of all time, on scintillating form. Oh how terrible Arsenal are.

Where are Hull City again?

Speaking of Hull City, you're a lot like the team you support, really.

I say that because, like them, nobody can ever really take you seriously. That and the sooner you retreat back to the depths you came from, the better, as all you do is show up to get whooped and embarrass yourself. Ashamed that even your greatest achievements are not up to par with Arsenal's worst failings. Even at Arsenal's worst, they're a chasm above Hull City.

It's adorable, but sad. Kinda like an older, impotent man dissing a younger, better male for having a urinary tract infection. Sure, the younger man's got problems, but at the very least he's not firing blanks.

Still, I suppose Hull City will do better against Barc...oh wait, no Champions' League for them. Well, there's always a chance to face Liverpool in the Europa Lea...oh, no Europa League for them either. Hmm...West Brom?

I'm butthurt that half of Arsenal's best squad got knocked out of the Champions' League - a tournament they're always a part of - by a great team and the world's best player?

Let's analyse this, child.

1. I'm totally cool with it. Would've loved Arsenal to win, there were factors against us but we lost to the better team on the night. Messi provided a masterclass and no excuses can be made there. I hope they go on to win the tournament, I have nothing bad to say about Barca, at all. They play football as it should be played and they're my favourite team outside of Arsenal.

2. You never show up unless it's to say something negative about Arsenal, in hopes of baiting me.

You can't do it. Dude, you support the shittest team in the league who may not even be in the league, who very nearly weren't in the league THIS season. Hull City will never play Euro football, they'll never be considered great.

So...who's butthurt REALLY, champ? I mean, really. Who's REALLY butthurt?

You keep bringing guns and I keep taking the bullets out the chambers, dude. You've got NO ammo because you know squat about football. You made a complete ass of yourself when you proved you had to LIE to try to get the edge in a debate, I embarrassed you so much that you LEFT and now that Arsenal have lost a game, you come back.

You popped up when Arsenal beat Hull fair and square, accusing ARSENAL of jiff, despite the fact that Hull got a penalty that wasn't a penalty.

So again, who is truly butthurt?

The sooner you admit that you are mine and I will forever own your contributions in this thread, the less embarrassing your attempts to jab at me will be. By all means, I URGE you to keep posting, as it entertains me and that's all you are good for in this thread. God knows you can't discuss football to save your life.

Nice form though. Any more?

Is that how it goes down? Is that why you're taking all this out on me?

Mr. Brown wouldn't come home to you?

Never mind, you're my pet now. I'm gonna call you Lil Phil.

So, Lil Phil. I hear Hull City are going to be sponsored by Pledge next season. I guess they use so much of it to clean the repeatedly gathered layers of dust off their empty and successless trophy shelves that it was the most profitable option.

Still, at least you've have something remotely shiny in there.

Well Man U did the old "lets score some goals then stop playing trick", Fergy is a moaning bad sportsman, always blaming the ref, or bad play by opposition players instead of congratulating the opponent.

Of the 180 minutes Man U played better for 45, so they didn´t deserve to win imo. And playing a clearly injured Rooney was just daft imo.

Leaving Rooney on after his ankle problem flared up again for 20 mins was a bad move. He did nothing in them. He was just walking about doing nothing.

Hindsight is 20/20, though.

I mean, when you have someone like Rooney or Fabregas, and they want to play, you sort of must lean toward letting them. They're so capable that leaving them off seems like it would do more bad than good.

It's a double-edged sword. If he left Rooney off, he probably would have wished he played him.

I recon he should have given Maceda a crack, Berbatov is useless when chasing a game.

True, true

Fulham took another scalp. Would be cool to see them get some silverware in Europe. Roy Hodgson's had a quality season.

DID YOU SEE THAT WONDERFUL GOAL TO MAKE IT 3-0, WHAT FANTASTIC PASSING.

Liverpool v Benfica, LFC played pure class that was absolutely magnificiant. If only the lads could of done this all season, what a fantastic match and a great result at that. My god, that was utterly brilliant to watch, what a match.

What channel was it on? I couldn't find the Liverpool game. I watched the Fulham game on ITV 4. (Which was a decent game, but not great)

I´m abroad and any games which arn´t shown I watch on Sopcast (online) , you get some asians waffling in the background though🙂

Woo hoo Liverpool could get some silverware this season after all, although It´d be nice if Fullham won something.

The final will be in Hamburg, so if the German club does make it to the final they´ll be hard to beat on home soil.

I think LFC is going to be striving for this one though, I mean the mistakes made all season... they've got to bring something home. Fulham in it still? That's interesting to hear, maybe we can get a good EPL final in Germany, aye lads? >;D

His location is the UK so I was simply curious as to whether he watched it on TV as I could not find it. I can never be arsed to watch games online. There is usually a decent enough game on Sky Sports.

I'll be rooting for Fulham all the way. They've already taken some premium scalps for a club of their size.
