Tonight was the game Monaco - Marseille. A rather pleasant game on the whole. The two teams played well. Monaco "stole" the victory (note that I am not using the word in a negative way) thanks to a goal by Giuly at the 93th min.

France is still one the last european countries with some suspense in the Championship. Italian, English, Spanish (Valencia), Dutch (Ajax), Portugese championship are already done.
3 games to go and there are only three pts between the 1st (Lyon) and the 3rd (Paris) 😊

Yeah ! They missed 2 penalty kicks and Pauleta missed a shot while the goal was empty. 🙄

You should have seen them ; Ljuboja (a good Jugoslavian striker) put the ball on the penalty spot. Then come Reinaldo (Brazilian) who takes the ball. The 2 players stay like that for 20 or 30 seconds (it's a loong time), before Déhu ( French Defender, Captain) comes and split them, taking Ljuboja with him.
That was ridiculous. On the other hand Bordeaux (the opponent) played rather well.

Yeh those 2 penalties cant be missed by a team that hopes (hoped) to be champion. And those 2 "arguing" about who is going to take the shot really isnt good for the team.

Why didnt Pauleta take the penalty kick? Isnt he the penalty kicker of PSG?

He is, but Bordeaux was his former club, and the GK, Ramé (20 appearance in national team), knew him very well.

Apparently he knew the others very well too 😆
