Palpatine and Mace Windu Debate [Merged]

Sidious was so totally toying with Mace, at least at the end. I don't think that his saber skills were lacking much if at all. Mace found his shot & took it, and Sidious lost his saber. That's fine. Mace had the saber battle that day. But after that, with Anakin in the picture, Sidious didn't pull out all the tricks he could've. He bated Anakin into helping him. Look at how he glances over to him & back as he's laying it on SO THICK with the, "Please don't kill me. I'm too weak. Too weak." So obviously an act, especially when he pops up and finishes Mace off. Not so weak after all, eh?

I totally think Sidious/Yoda is a stalemate. I don't think either of them could defeat the other unless they suddenly got lucky. Where Sidious could've beaten Mace alone, he would need a distraction to defeat Yoda, and vice versa. Yoda failed because he couldn't beat Sidious, not because he was beaten. A draw doesn't earn a mark in the win column.

Hence, I cannot choose either option in this poll. 🙂

I didn't like how Obi Wan was able to win the saber fight between himself and young Vader...that didn't seem realistic to me because Anakin killed all those Jedi in the temple and Anakin is supposed to be very bad ass.

It was in Entertainment Magazine April edition (I got the one with Princess Leia in her slave girl outfit…hot…The article on Star Wars is on page 9 . I am not 100% on this but my memory at 5 in the morning after staying up all day is not that good. It is called Star Wars secrets reveled or something like that.

I think he also said it in an interview for a special run on TV the day before it opened in theaters at midnight. I wouldn't quote me on this one because I am not sure.

If any of you nerds recorded any of those specials, I suggest you rewatch them. There are a ton of arguments that could be cleared up if you would just go to the source of SW knowledge...the man himself...Jesus Chri...I mean George Lucas. (One in the same...that is another joke.)

I derrived my opinion from his crushing everything in the room he was in at the end of the movie. He is potentially the strongest force wielder.

He can sense Luke and Sidious can't. +1 for Vader.
