i'd say none of them are good, you guys probably will say i'm crazy, but watching episode 4, 5 and 6 made me believe like all those guys were greater than what they appeared to be in episode III, nor yoda, nor darth vader, nor the emperor, not that i saw them failing.... but wasn't anakin's training cut-shorted??? yoda's butt was kicked so bad for the emperor who in time was defeated by a master jedi??? i don't know but i thing the real skilled one and the real chosen one of all the series is luke, am i nuts??? 🤪

fear was in sids face but being the sly man he was he turned everything to his advantage his trust in anikan was his biggest risk
I already gave you a solid arguement. You all just fell for his ruse like Ani did. He's ACTING. Its SOOOOO obvious its sad. I have not heard a good arguement yet for how he sprang up spraying lighting and yelling "ulimate power". He had a minute to rest is crap. He yelled Ultimate Power as proof that he was always in control. If y'all can't see that, your loss.
What is sad is your stubborn insistence that Palps had everything under control, despite thematic elements, what was blatantly in the movie, and even *physics* saying that you're wrong (unless you're willing to say that he intentionally had his face melted).
As I said before: if his premonition was so absolute that he KNEW mace wouldn't finish his job before Anakin arrived, or that he KNEW that Anakin would arrive at all, then why did he not know that Anakin would turn on him in RoTJ? In light of the fact that his premonition utterly fails him in episode 6, it's pathetic and foolish to stubbornly insist nonetheless that the premonition is absolute.
And that is not stupid. Is it any less likely that Mace could live than it is that Vader could survive the Obi-Wan duel? It's pretty damn unlikely, but surely not impossible. No corpse= possibility that he could have survived. Very slim possibility, and until we hear otherwise I'm quite comfortable in assuming he died, but it's possible nonetheless.
Palps was diabolical and uncanny in his planning but he was also incredibley lucky. How did he know Maul would kill qui gon?? What if obi wan was killed first, Qui Gon would have shoved mauls horns right up his tookus. And after that he would raised anikin seperate from the order and anikin would have grown to shun the darkside with every core of his fiber.
The emp, in allot of circumstances, has benefited of luck.
