Muhammad Ali or Bruce Lee?

If it were only one or two people proclaiming these feats, I'd grudgingly agree with you, but dude, no way ALL of them can be inaccurate.

And Lee DOES have a fighting history, it is documented, you can't disallow that.

I actually believe the majority of the "feats", and not grudgingly mind you, but those feats just confirm what I already pointed out. Bruce is extremely atheletic. It's the feats that have him collapsing hearts, exploding bags, outwrestling a whale, etc that I must call into question.

Aside from the Wong Jack Man bout, which is debatable anyway, yes we can. His "fight record" comes from unknown sources, had no ties to any past or present fight organization, included unnamed fighters, and have no actual documentation whatsoever. There's no way to verify any of them with the exception of the debatable Wong fight.

Now, if someone said Ali beat (insert random unnamed amateur fighter here) on the street, I would not use that as evidence that Ali would beat someone in a fight. It only makes sense to do the same for Lee.

Do you see where I'm coming from here?

I see where you are coming from, I just aint buying it.

Well, help me out here. What exactly makes my product not worthy of purchase?

I really don't think I said anything farfetched here. Unless you're referring to the whale thing and that was just damn funny and you know it.

I did chuckle a bit at that one. 😆

and please, no more talk of Lee NOT being an accomplished fighter:

This is 8,437% more impressive, since it all can be verified as true.

"Ali was best known for his fighting style which he described as "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee". His movement is often described as a dance; some go so far as to call it beautiful.[who?] Throughout his career Ali made a name for himself with great handspeed, as well as fast feet and taunting tactics. While Ali was renowned for his fast, sharp out-fighting style, he also had a great chin, and displayed a great heart and ability to take a punch in his 1974 fight against George Foreman in Zaire, called the Rumble in the Jungle."

More stats, just like the ones I quoted for Lee. So he had more fights, so what? So he had great handspeed, Lee proved he can box as well as do martial arts, see the link I provided for proof.

He can take a punch, fine, but can he take a foot to the temple?

The "stats" you quoted for you are anecdotes. The shit Robtard quoted is verifiable and real.

Even his fight history? There are RECORDS of that, man.

OK, lemmee try this.....Ali was trained to fight with his fists, correct?

Yes.

And Bruce Lee was trained to fight with his feet, knees, elbows, head, AND, due to being trained in boxing, he can also fight with his fists.

Correct?

Well, as far as I know, Wing Chun focuses on fighting with your fists, so he probably can also fight with his fists because of his initial training.

But yes.

He had a lot more fights, and your response is "so what", seriously? More fights = more experience, and that is good to have in a fight, some might say a huge advantage.

Of Lee's 13 fights, 4 were amateur, 2 were exhibitions and 3 were against "unknown" people. Let me guess, "so what?"

Edit: Don't you find it odd, that for the guy who's supposed to be the "best" martial artist in the world and a guy who "can defeat anyone", he has so few fights and so little record/details of those fights?

So, with all of these weapons at his disposal, and hand speed that rivalled Ali's (you know it's true, go ahead and say it), you still see Ali winning this fight?

Oh, thats right, all of the testimonials towards Lee are BULLSHIT. I forgot.

Never said either of that.

Fighting in the ring and fighting in the street are two completely different scenarios, man. For all we know, Ali might freeze up. It happens to some trained fighters. They are trained to fight in the rign, WITH protective equipment, WITH rules, under close supervision. Bruce Lee was trained to do both, fight in the ring AND in the street.

So, considering the fight would NOT be in the ring, who has more experience?

Ali would not have time to react as Lee went after his legs over and over again. If Ali DID see the kick coming, how would he defend? Would he jump out of the way? Would he block?

Depends on the situation. How exactly would Lee block the likeliest harderst punch he ever received? You are only talking in hypotheticals...and only in those benefiting Lee.

Hey, this whole thread is hypothetical. And how can you be so sure that Ali's punch would be the most powerful Lee has ever taken?

You're willing to take all the hearsay myths surrounding Lee as fact, while you make claims that have little proof about Ali, that is rediculous. Seriously, realize that the Lee you see in the movies is just movies, sure the guy was extrememly fit and did some awesome things, but that's the movies.

Ali has more, a lot more experience, I showed it above.

You avoided my question.

Same way you can be sure that Lee would be faster, that Ali couldn't block his attacks, that Lee would take damage easily.

Though, to be fair, my assumption is likelier than yours are.
