USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE III (JEDI)- Revelations

Cassilis people seem to have fallen asleep during their conversation with Kuylen? With no answer, and time still passing I assume you are stalling for now.

"May I ask you something?" says Anaz.

-

Varm appears at the door of the room whose window you just broke, Andro, and opens fire on you, doing the equivalent of five damage (as you are not in a good position to get out of the way!).

Gallagher, you run around trying to find where people are- they aren't back at the treatment room.

(OK, maybe he's not going to kill himself, just me.)

Andro winced as the blaster bolt grazed his skin, and ducked out of sight.
"Whoops! I'm lucky you're a bad shot, Varm!", a beat, then, "Why did you kill Twain? He see something he shouldn't have? Did he get in the way of your plans with Kathya?" he thought that distracting Varm might buy some time.

Never a bad idea in Star Wars- few SW villains can resist monologuing.

"You've seen a glimpse of the future, bodyguard," he says, with a sneer. "I hope you enjoyed it, because you won't live to see it happen." He opens fire again.

Andro keeps his head low, weathering the latest barrage.
"Whose future is that, Varm? Yours? Or does Kathya run things here? My Boss tells me she keeps you on a pretty short leash."
Andro begins to glance around the ledge for a loose bit of material he might be able to get hold of, either close at hand or reachable through the Force.

(If Andro can use sense to keep a basic track of Varm's location, just to make sure he isn't sneaking up on him, he will. He's looking for something like a stone or small brick he might be able to chuck with Push/Pull to break a window or something.)

Sorry, I've been getting days where I'm REALLY busy and home like 20 min a day, then days where I have nothing....
"Seems only fair...Go ahead."

"I'm led to understand you once worked under a Jedi Master named Gundark? Is that right?"

-

Yup, you can find something like that, Andro.

"We'll see who is in charge soon enough.." he says.

"Yes I did. A while ago... Why do you ask?"

(OK. If Andro has the skill to pull it off, he'll levitate the objuct to the next window and break it. If not, he'll save it.)

You're being watched, Andro.

-

"And I believe in her final attempt to catch him, she duelled with my cousin on a distant world?"

"Yes, I was there, it was frightening to say the very least."

(And then there was that Galder fellow...)

(Shoo, Darkie, Shoo. Don't you have something to steal? 😛
Who's watching Andro, and where from? I'll still hang on to the stone. It may come in handy yet.)

Andro continues shouting back through the window, "Oh, so you've got your own plans for the future do you? I guess with the Abbot, well current Abbot out of the way, you'll be running the show." Then he adds dryly. "Poor Kathya."

(I think he meant that Varm can see what you're doing...)

Yup, I meant Varm is watching you. You've stretched out his wordiness at this point, I am afraid. Having zeroed in on you and you still being in a hopeless defensive position, he inflicts another ten damage on you before Zaland arrives and opens fire on him from his flank.

Varm starts to withdraw down the corridor, moving out of your sight, Andro.

-

"And I also understand... that my cousin won?" says Anaz.

(Ah, I had hoped Andro was keeping his head down.)

As soon as Andro hears Zaland opens fire, he jumps through the window and advances toward the doorway. He stretches out through the Force, trying to sense how far Varm has retreated.

(Ok, before I charge in stupidly, just how far away is Varm now? Would I be able to make a mad dash to safety while Zaland covers me? Or would I be able to charge Varm without likely getting shot again?)

You were! Blaster shots wound or kill, Andro. That your damage is limited now to 15 is representative of you trying to keep out the way as best you can, else it would be twice that.

You would rate it as darn risky to rush Varm- not actually impossible though.

However, you'd feel much better about it if you could use your force powers.

(I see. I was just wondering if it was the way the window and ledge were made or something.)

Andro cocks his throwing arm back, brick in hand and starts his dash into the corridor. As soon as Varm is in sight he throws the stone he picked up on the ledge, using the Force to add to it's momentum and accuracy, hoping it will be enough of a distraction to make it to Varm.

(No guts no glory, right? I'll throw the stone, more as a distraction than a missile, and charge Varm. As soon as I'm close, I'll do a Flying Kick.)

No room in that corridor for a Flying Kick I am afraid!

(Ok, Channel then.)

If your plan is to fight Varm, I recommend against it. Unarmed and unable to use Force powers you would be at serious disadvantage against an armed killer.
