(I wondered about that myself BB. I'm trying my darnedest to not use the Force in any obvious way, but dang it, I just don't know how to get out of this. Unless Andro thinks he can make it around a corner before Varm shoots him, he will indeed break into the nearest room. I hope I've actually put myself nearer to the stairway.

I'll jump in and blur to the door, right out into the hall if it's open, then as fast as humanly possible down that hall to the stairs. If I can beat Varm to the hall, I figure I've got a chance. If I can't make it to the stairs before Varm shoots me, I'll confront him. I'm not sure what else to do.)

Seeing nowhere else to go, Andro breaks the window to the next room and dives in. he jumps to has feet and uses the Force to blur to the doorway. He knows Varm will have heard the glass break, and he's not sure that he'll beat the gunman into the hall. If he can just leave the room before Varm can pin him in again, Andro figures he can either make a dash for the stairs, or charge Varm.

(May the Force be with you, Andro Fenris... 😛 )

(Thanks. 😄 ) Andro's a fighter, he's tired of running. I realise this could go badly, though. Hey, I'll escape if I can, but if I can somehow get the better of Varm, it might be ok. We'll see in the morning.)

Sorry, Andro, but that's no differernt from your situation before. Blur or none, there is no way through a door Varm is covering without being shot- unless you have your sabre (it would take a good Force roll even if you used Speed).

"A private meeting?" says the Abbot. "I am afraid I have little time for that; I have much work to do between my treatments."

Meanwhile, Colonel Tiso snaps to attention beides you suddenly, Roan.

He says that the General wishes to see you.

"I understand, sir," Gallagher says. "But all I need is a short time. I consider it a thing of great urgency."

(I thought Varm was at the window? Is he not that far in the room yet? You said that my best bet would be to beat Varm to the stairs by entering another room. If he can beat me back into the hallway, though, I guess I'll have to continue along the ledge. I was just afraid that he was about to lean out the window and shoot me off the ledge.)

I never said necessarily by entering another rooM! I gave absolutely no conditions at all. I simply said straight out that you have to find a way to beat Varm to the stairs.

And yes, he'll do that. Hence the pressure situation!

"Well now," says the Abbot, "I..."

And at this point you are interrupted by the message Andro sent you.

"Ok, lead the way."

He'll take you to Kuylen, who is alone in his command tent. He dismisses Tiso.

"You look worried, Trilanger," he says.

"I am... I have a hunch, and if my hunch is correct, we are in a situation that might be too much for us to rectify. I fear we may be dealing with the Sith..."

"The Sith?" says Anaz, quizically. "I fear my presence has confused you; memories of my cousin, perhaps."

"Your cousin, no matter how much he tried, never was a Sith. But it all makes sence. We know that there is a Sith prensence. Obi-wan Kenobi ran into one on Naboo. But this is getting off track. If you don't mind me asking, why did you summon me here?"

"My apologies, Abbott, just a moment," Gallagher says, answering his comlink. He hears Andro shout his message, briefly before a distinct hissing noise and then the sound of gunfire.

"No..." Gallagher says, hearing this. "Abbott, I apologize for my suddenness, but I have deemed that Father Varm, no matter how loyal he is to you, is actually a threat to you as well. That was my urgent message to you. My bodyguards confirmed this when I played hockey against him; he has the look of a murderer rather than a pacifist priest."

He looks to Zaland for a confirmation.

Gallagher will contact security.

"My cousin, I understand, was obsessed with the Sith. Maybe he was infectious. You are just seeing them everywhere.

"I was wondering if you had yet come to a decision? The preparations needed to storm the Sanctuary are now complete. All that is left, now, is your input."

"And me to turn off the guns at the front gate..."

I suppose Jelena will return the device to Roan at some point before we head off.

Remember, the General wanted you to infiltrate the place and turn off the incinerator too.

"What ridiculousness is this?" says the Abbot.

Gallagher, you are feeling EXTRMELY uncomfortable- and not just because you are now sensing Andro in danger, at the moment Varm threw the gas cannister in.

-

"And to disable the incendiary devices, of course."

"Varm tried to pull a gun on me when I went to try and talk with you the first time," Gallagher explains. "No priest would do that, unless I am terribly mistaken. We suspected some foul play, and apparently we were correct. My other bodyguard has discovered a dead body in Varm's room..."

Like, about the whole situation? Andro was sure that Deel's body was murdered, yes? Why else would Varm be hanging on to it?

Well, how do you know? But your hyper-powered intuition is screaming bloody murder at you right now, the more you talk.

"Is this some kind of sick joke?" says Kathya. "I will not tolerate this sort of juvenile, prejudiced, vile assault on members of the Synod. I insist that thr authorites deal with this immediately!"
