I think you will find I meant political asylum. Pose as refugees. In fact, all worlds in the Republic are obligated to accept refugees. It's a bane of content between the Outer and Inner worlds because the laws state that the first available world has to accept the refugees, which is of course never the inner worlds so the outer ones, strained already, have to care for them.
Getting proper papers could take months. You just want an entry visa for this world. Frankly, you are surpirsed the Bureau is making such an issue of it- Immigration laws in the Republic barely exist, it being a conglomerate of sovereign worlds without a single foreign policy. There have been agreements over time but they barely count at all. All you need to do is conform to the laws on Newhaven itself and demonstrate that you have legitimate reason to be there and they'll have to let you in whether they like it or not.
Gallador calmly and slowly repeats that those miners that escaped and weren`t with him, were at the hangar, and they were preparing for transaction with aproaching merchants, who brought a huge supply, that would be enough for many months. The transaction didn`t happen because of pirate attack. This is why they had money with them.
