Indeed, but a atleast he doesn't just gain Deus ex machina abilities that completely and utterly contradict his original powers. Plus although they are pseudo scientific they are explained by something that is basically magical, i.e. the speedforce. 🙂

one comic against god knows how many... and then there's the point that he was hitting the flash probably just as hard, and flash was surviving, a punch from superman would take wally's head off...

and on the whole Zoom issue, time is relative and are the forces attributed to it.Which is why Zooms punches cant hurt people who slow down time.

If Wally was moving at round about the same speed as Zoom, then Zoom's punches wouldn't be as effective as they were on Wonder Woman, who was basically just standing there taking a full punch at lightspeed +.

there are many panels where wally's standing still taking numerous punches from zoom, and all he gets is a relatively banged up face...
and if he was charging at zoom, and zoom at he, zoom's punches would do more damage due to the momentum at work...

How do we know this?
Because a punch from Zoom sent WW from Paris to the Great Wall of China.
When Zoom punched Flash, nothing remotely close to that happened.

he defines his whole existence as being to make wally a better hero, and that means giving him larger and larger obstacles to overcome to become that hero... i don't see him holding back that much...
just looks like selective writing from rucka to me (it was rucka wasnt it?)
