Honestly,

Because he doesn't need to... 😬

Supes can usually defeat almost any opponent with his regular powerset.

A sun-dip is just a way for the DC writers to make Superman more uber, if need be.

Yea i guess so

You mean the guy Nate Gray fought?

In a recent issue, Jason Todd had Joker all tied up. He somehow got out of it and apparently blew himself and Todd up. Later, they both show up again, but I never saw an explanation as to how they survived the blast. Does anyone know?

I'd like to have some opinions about the strength level of the major DC characters. I know DC has no official levels like Marvel, but I'd like to know in terms of tonage press capability.

I'll give my opinions, feel free to tell me how wrong I am.

Superman and Doomsday 250 tons

Supergirl/Black Adam/Captain Marvel 200 tons

Wonder Woman and Power Girl 150 tons

Superboy (kon-el) 125 tons

Martian Manhunter and Donna Troy 100 tons

Wonder Girl (Cassandra) 90 tons

Steel 75 tons

Aquaman 50 tons in water 20 tons after being dry for at least an hour

Hawkman 20 tons

Flash 2 ton leg lift

Batman 600 pounds

Nightwing 400 pounds

I appreciate anyone's opinion on this.

Aquaman has class 100 feats, he is definetly more then 50 tons. Heck underwater he lifted an entire city block

Thanks, I'd like to see that. You wouldn't happen to know of a time a bullet or two bounced off him, would you?

Being more of a Marvel guy, I specifically remember She-Hulk and Sub Mariner being stronger than Aquaman in two different crossovers.

Can you be a little more vague, please?

That was the whole point of asking the question. How about making your list instead of just saying I'm wrong? 😮‍💨

...because it's easier.

😛

Determinging strength levels is like determining what color a kaleidescope image is. There's no set truth.

Even Marvel, who tries to set strength levels, has their own rankings refuted hundreds of times a year by what happens in the comics.

Superman can lift many hundreds of thousands of tons, minimum. Probably millions, billions, etc. But trying to determine anything concrete from his showings is literally impossible.

He's strong as crap. Most of those others are too...well in excess of 100 tons. That's as close as you'll get...and if anyone tells you otherwise, they're lying to you.

Superman
WW
MM
BA
Cm
DD

none of those can be measured like that,as they can all lift millions of tons 😬

..yes..they are moving earth.

Steel on the other hand is not that strong but hella far above 90 tons.

Batman and Nightwing both have feats that exceed the ratings you set,but as they are only humans that's debatable.

If you must have them ranked on a marvel scale, they are all class 100+,meaning they can lift in EXCESS of one hundred tonnes.

What?

I know, i was just being generous so he didn't feel like a total tard.

Is the Arion fighting Superman right now the same guy that got involved in the first Crisis?

I bet he feels really bright after that comment

I got 3 questions.
1. Whats a jobber?
2. How much can someone at peak human strength do/lift?
3. What determines whether someone has superhuman strength?
