Can someone give me some comic book scans of Godzilla?

They would if it was being continuously emitted from their eyes

I didn't realize that physics prevented light from going in 2 directions at once. Light doesn't have mass after all. If you aimed 2 lasers at each other I'm guessing that both points would end up at their intended targets.

assuming that the things emitting the light (heat vision, concussive beams, whatever) aren't the rods and cones that the eye uses to sense light, there is no reason that their eyes couldn't both send and receive. the most that they would notice would be a different view if some of the light from the eye attack were reflected from the lens of the eyeball. an eye that had evolved that ability might actually be able to see better while letting the light out.

Yes but if there was a very bright light source inside of your eyeballs, I would think that would interfere with your vision.

depends, photons are uni-directional. which means if they are an orderly form of light you wouldn't even see them unless they were pointed at you. of course the comics always show the beams from every direction, which means that there are 2 options (discounting that it could just be a storytelling device). 1- the beams are not tightly packed photons, which really just means that evolution or some specific mutation would have to have given the hero in question the ability to filter out their own light, 2- the lens of the hero's eyeball refracts the light in such a way that it becomes visible outside of the eye, while it was uni-direction inside the eye, meaning that the hero wouldn't even see the beam, just the effects of it.

Well in the case of Superman or similar characters, they have enhanced senses and various types of vision (capable of seeing on wavelengths far beyond human eyesight) so it wouldn't be a problem for them, but for someone like Cyclops, it doesn't really make sense.

I have another question, what comics does Yuga Khan appear in?

Stop making so many damn posts at once.

Anyway, does anyone have some scans of Godzilla from his comic book series?

Yes.

Check the Godzilla Respect thread.

Alright, thanks. I didn't even know that thread existed.

How many times has Galactus or one of his heralds been mistaken for deities ?

I know Air-walker was once thought to be the Archangel Gabriel and that Surfer was once assumed to be God, but are their any more ?

FireLord was mistaken for either a fallen god or some sort of mystic hero once.

Why doesnt Superman regularly take sun dips?

Because it dries his skin out.

Probably because doing so would increase his power and make him think of himself as a god (power corrupts). He doesn't want that and would rather increase his power only when he needs to fight someone of immense power and save other.

Honestly,

Because he doesn't need to... 😬

Supes can usually defeat almost any opponent with his regular powerset.

A sun-dip is just a way for the DC writers to make Superman more uber, if need be.

Also in Stormbreaker Galactus appeared to the Korbinites as some kind of evil god from their mythology
