Why did Hal Jordan want to get rid of the blue ring so badly when it boosted his power so very much? I know there was some sort of disruption the blue caused to green rings? But what was it exactly, overloading? Could some one clarify?

Apparently, Hal just *****ng hates hoping for things. He spent the whole time he was wearing the Blue Ring just FLIPPING out about how much the concept of hope sucks.

Hal is proactive. he just hates the idea of people sitting around hoping everything will turn out all right. he prefers to get to it and make it happen himself.

at least, imo...

I'm trying to figure out something, If Galactus is so smart why has he not yet found an infinite power source to feed on? Like the Power Gem?

galactus has already thought of that. hell, he even collected ALL of the infinity gems - that, however, didn't work out very well for him [enter the character, 'hunger'.] he also found an 'infinite' power source in the form of hyperstorm - and we still don't know what ever came of him...

meh the truth is, galactus' insatiable hunger is essential to the universe. without his pattern of endlessly devouring worlds, the universe would be thrown off balance.

also, classicly planets have a special energy galactus needs, and it's exclusive to them. something due to them being life supporting biospheres. ego the living planet evolved into a sentient planet with immense power so i would assume all planets have a hidden power greater than it would appear.

the most important thing though is that eating life supporting biospheres is a pretty good plot to begin with

The first one.

doesn't Superman ever get worried that, when fighting out in space, he'll stray too far from a yellow sun and die??

Has Joker ever shown any signs of 'normal' behaviour? I mean, did he ever show genuine remorse over something? Was there a line that even he wouldn't cross? A time when the crap really hit the fan and he decided to help out the heroes? Show any sort of real moral standards? Things like that.

Yeah, he has. I think he has shown it when MM tried to get him to be normal. It worked for a second. Then I believe I did saw Joker show remorse towards his dead daughter.

Doesn't work like that. Superman stores solar power in his cells. It can last him an enormous time. Though it can vary depending on his task.
