yeah but when he get's bathed in the radiation of a red sun he loses his powers instantly right?
actually its yes and no. His solar stores are still there but he can't use them while under the red radiation.
Take away the red star's light and he's powered again without need of a yellow solar bath.

Has Joker ever shown any signs of 'normal' behaviour? I mean, did he ever show genuine remorse over something? Was there a line that even he wouldn't cross? A time when the crap really hit the fan and he decided to help out the heroes? Show any sort of real moral standards? Things like that.
Not canon, but in the Batman/Captain America crossover he refused to work with Red Skull because he was a Nazi

Like already stated there was a time on Morrison's run where Martian Manhunter temporarily made the Joker sane, who in turn started to break down after being fully aware of all that he had done.
Also in Batman, Joker spent a few issues, showing up here and there in a disguise as emo stage magician Ivar Loxias. Whilst clearly having the Joker's insane personality, he did put on a persona of someone who was much more composed and calculating, even thoughtful, until his reveal to Batman.
here's my question

DC has shown them to be peers in strength. Superman has better feats but they stalemated in arm wrestling.
I have no evidence to back this up, but I've always believed that Captain Marvel is actually physically stronger, more durable, and has more endurance then Superman, but Superman can beat him because, in general, he thinks more tactically and has a pretty solid speed advantage. Other than the horrific World War Three arc, we pretty much never see the Marvel's use super-speed strategically, the way Flashes or Kryptonians do. Mostly they just fly from place to place really fast.
