I thought that on some fundamental, unexplained level the 616 was just more important. Possibly it's simply because it's the main universe from which our stories our based.

That may have been "proven" in continuity, but, I know for a fact that originally, the term "Universe 616" was chosen in "Excalibur" to refrenence the fact that "our" Marvel Universe was just one of many, many others: not more special, or powerful, or "real," it's just the one we read about. This was to distinguish it from the DC "Earth One," versus "Earth Two" nonsense. At heart, it's about Marvel's more "lifelike" stories versus the "mythological" DC stories.

But I wouldn't doubt at all you could dredge up evidence since then of some ridiculous cosmic threat proving that 616 Marvel is more pertinent than the others.

and i'm sure it will be.

but like i said earlier, if all the sets of infinity gems have unlimited control over time, space, soul, mind, power, reality - then logically, they should all be equal. logcially.

Oh yeah, I remember reading about the origin of the term "616" ✅

Would you say it's better for a super hero to change at his or her house, or just have his or her costume under his clothes so he or she can change in a phone booth, bathroom, etc?

I'm talking in regards to super heroes that can't just instantly change such as DC Comics Captain Marvel just by saying the word shazam, Ghost Rider.

With Beta Ray Bill Godhunter #3....who was the person they were talking about when they mentioned a cosmic tyrant that enslaved Galactus ?

Sorry man, misread something else.

OK, I've read X-Force #18 and I have a question... do you think that Laura will get her bones laced with adamantium?

I think there were one or two FF stories which seemed to indicate that 616 was the "main" reality or something like that.

Also, I think in the Gatherers storyline in the Avengers something was said about 616 being the "prime" universe from which all the others diverged.

'

It's difficult to say. If it happens then I can imagine X-23 becoming the next threat in X-force. Frankly, that would be a disappointment. The only worthwhile possible outcome such a storyline would have, is another appearance for Hellion.

Why does Betsy look Asian while her twin brother, Brian, looks Western??

By a series of circumstances way too convoluted, boring, and "nineties," Betsy Braddock was resurrected in the body of an Asian woman.

Well, she looks waaaaayyyy hotter now than her Western look.

😛

I'm pretty sure that's precisely why it happened.

I mean, English accent Asian chick= nerd fanboy's dream girl.

*sigh*

I personally like black chicks with English accents. Like that one girl in the new Doctor Who series.
