Iceman (full potential) vs. Superman

Given that absolute zero is altogether hypothetical, that's why you wouldn't know about it. 😉 The universe has a natural radiation that keeps it a few degrees above absolute zero. The universe would have to pretty much completely devoid of stars, planets, energy, and all to accomplish absolute zero.

So even, hypothetically speaking, Bobby could create absolute zero temperature, the moment it entered the universe, it would be bombarded with ambient radiation, and not be absolute anymore.

Its a comic book. Anyways:

That's why Iceman exists in a fictional universe, so he can freeze things at absolute zero, it's pretty amazing, I know.

Well, he could keep "generating" that temperature. At the least there would be fluctuations between absolute and non-absolute zero.

Anyway, even if it was a few degrees above absolute zero, Superman might not be able to move anyway.

Space is just a few degrees above absolute zero. Superman flies around out there just fine.

Oh curse you!

But yea, what the others said. We're talking about a comic book.

Well, Supes can survive in space and thats about -270 degrees Celsius, or -455 Fahrenheit(no real average). Generally just shy of three degrees above absolute zero – the temperature at which molecules themselves stop moving. Ice Man can get near -zero.

Granted who knows if this is true for comics.

I have read every post in this thread. That said.. it's really funny to me as I see most of you did not.

Anyways.. I vote Iceman wins this. I would explain how and answer recent rebuttals, questions but then after more pages there would be more people that do not read a thread before posting, asking the same questions and spewing the same garbage that has been corrected before.

Also to illadelph12, demigawd and Blair Wind. Keep posting.. I find your logic refreshing. 😄

And of freezing his molocules.
Even full chrono suspension doesn't work on Superman.

Ice even overtook his body, when his being was put in a chrono-statis.

His whole being is loaded with massive amounts of energy.

Are right then explain to me what will be Iceman's defense after the bell rings when Superman decides to bfr him into space in less than a nanosecond.

And explain how can a statue hit a moving target. Because that what Iceman would be to Superman when the bell rings.

Lastly you didn't yet prove that Iceman can reach absolute zero. And when you do Juntai has rebutted the fact that it would win against Superman right above.

Well, in X-Men Forever, Bobby was able to reform his body at will. Superman can hit him all he wants and it really won't do a damn. Bobby would also be able to freeze any part of Superman's organs and shatter them, most likely. Even AOA Iceman was a beast. Not to sure if that version can take down Superman, but Bobby is an Omega class mutant and probably would kill Superman if he wanted to.

Wait. I'm finally arguing for Superman and you have to ruin it? **** off. 😛

While you're second point is spot on....absolute zero being hypothetical? Nah. They had to spend two months cooling the LHC's wiring to absolute zero in order for it to be a perfect superconductor and get the best possible performance out of it.

Not cool. You mean I'm going to have to apologize to Juntai?

you can only get to get to several hundred billionths of a kelvin, absolute zero is pretty much impossible to attain. (in our world)

.00000000XXX K is still that low of a temperature that it would still be devastating to matter and the environment, if iceman can hit that than he still has a shot. (assuming he can't lower tempuratures psionically to 0k in marvel universe at his "full potential"😉

Iceman is mist. Supes breathes in mist, sneezes mist out, Iceman is in the Sun.

Iceman is mist. Supes breathes in mist, superman attempts to sneeze mist, supes' muscle contraction shatters his frozen lungs, supes dies, bobby dates the newly single lois lane.

😈 SEE WHAT I DID THAR!

Iceman could transfer his consciousness to the water in Supes body.

Then Supes wins via urination.

The ability to freeze water vs unlimited energy radiation? I'd go with the energy radiation guy.

At least you make it apparent you don't know about Bobby's powers, saves me the time of having to guess.

Iceman freezes the urine in his dick.
