Same here when I started to "break off" catholicism I tried to like believe in it, but I simply just didnt think it was possible no more... and remember I come from a VERY catholic, conservative family. My mom still thinks Im a devoted christian...

from my father's family:
His grandfather and his family escaped FROM germany TO chile when the whole Nazi thing happened. they settled in chile lived, yadde yadde, after the whole nazi thing was over they, most of the family went back to ze mozerland but my dad's grandfather's sister or something like that stayed in chile, so my great grandfather had kids blah blah blah, when my dad was around... 11 I think his grandfather's sister invited him to stay with her in santiago for the summer, and thats when the whole Allende-pinochet thingy happened...
