Goku v. Superman

1. By virtue of IT Goku is faster.
2. Debatable. Supes bioelectric aura makes him invulnerable. If Goku can cause lots of damage fast, then he looses it, since it takes a lot of energy to keep up.
3. By virtue of the nature of his power he can fight for longer periods of time(read past pages on this thread).
4. He can't.
5. Supes natural speed should enable him to have faster reflexes, since he doesn't rely on a technique for greater than light speed.
6. Debatable.

reflexes.. again.. goku was fighting cooler at IT speeds.. they were reacting to I.T. speeds. thus goku's reflexes should heavily outweigh supe's

Actually, Superman is more durable. SSJ3 Goku gets tired after only about three minutes, Superman is able to fight for longer without getting tired.

That's not his speed, but teleportation when he uses IT, it does nothing to his speed. And again movies aren't cannon. Supes fought against teleporters before anyways, plus it'll make things worser for ssj3 Goku anyways (since it takes up energy). 🙂

in any case.. yeah it's super fast movement.. we've been over this again and again, no matter how many times you THINK it's teleportion it's super fast movement, as per goku explanation...

superman is just the man of steal, goku's punches would still tear through him like a tissue box. this one is highly debatable though. superman is a living legend in all of our minds, whether we like him or not.

Superman's body is harder than steel, you actaully think just because he's called the "Man of Steel" that his body is like that do you? 😕 Oh and Superman whould tear through any DBZ/GT character like paper. 😄

Actually no. Superman is 100% invulnerable to any physical attack as long as his bioelectric aura at 100%. As he gets beat over and over again it taxes his energy level and if a big hitter is beating on Superman, he will eventually lose it and then be a dead meat punching bag.

The man of steel used to be faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings at a single bound.

Which by the way was not very impressive. Now he is invulnerable to any conventional attack, many times faster than light, enough power to lift in the thousands of tons (at one point quintillions), and can actually now fly.

again IT is superspeed.. get over it.

I'm not saying I'm in favor of Supes but in Showcase Superman, it says he can travel 1000 times the speed of light.

They keep making Supes stronger every issue then say he is to strong and make him weak in another then go oh shit a box hit him so make him phoenix strength to keep his image as the strongest ever.

Post-Crisis Supes has stayed consistant.

He' feats now a days are ridicules lifting quintillion tons Sounds really stupid,and makes me not take him seriously.

I don'tt know if this is still an issue or not, but is the whole "Supes is faster than any DBZ character" thing still going on? Well I read some proof in the first 5 pages of this thread, about Supes flying to saturn in a few seconds yada-yada. i remember in the first brolly movie that Goku uses instant transmission to travel around either the universe ro the Galaxy instantaneously. Wouldn't that inquire that Goku is, indeed faster? i mean i don' think Supes can fly from earth t the edge of the known galaxy instantaneously, as Goku did. And the thing about Goku needing to know were he is going to get their, not true seemingly. he was teleporting random in a certain direction, not knowing exactly were he was going. so...yeah. i would think Goku is faster.

IT is nothing but teleportation basically. IT doesn't make Goku faster than Superman. As for physical feats, what has Goku done that puts him on par with Superman? Lifting 40 ton weights? Lifting a boulder? Even if Goku is faster, he's still not stronger so it doesn't matter. He can hit him as many times as he wants but he'll just be wasting energy. The most Goku would be able to give Superman is a scratch or a cut.
