did the crisis even effect darkseid? i still dont see hulk owning freeza in any shape or form, and aren't sayans on the same level of strength as yellow sun kryptonians? I mean just on that logic with the level of training goku has and his natural potencial he should be able to defeat superman. + factoring the martial arts skill and increased power

and i think we're talking about the original supes that we all know and love, not some reincarnates, that DC made up for the younger more "hip" generation to appeal to. I mean, these other supermans are depicted as invulnerable and invincible, which in my oppinion we're talking about games here so taht would be considered God Moding and should be locked away with the game genie and other cheats that make the fights unfair.
The original Supes was not that impressive feat wise. Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound is kinda wimpy if you ask me.
The original Supes could lift a car over his head, run fast and leap an 1/8 of a mile, and could be hurt with heavy artillery. I mean that sound more like Spiderman to me. This Superman would pose no challenge to Goku at all in any form. Even Goku from Dragon Ball could piss of this Superman.
The Superman that can roll with Goku is the one that can effortlessly demolish planets, fly fast enough to time travel, who does not require food or sleep, was a freaking braniac and could see and hear from one side of the universe to the other.

We're talking about Comic book version of Superman (current) and Goku from the manga or anime, not the video game versions of either.
Oh ok my thinking was kryptonians were naturally under the red sun, stronger, more intelligent and faster etc. than the average human, but that w/ the yellow sun it is enhanced further to the unbelievable feats superman has. and. that a saiyan is simular to a kryptonian exposed to the yellow sun. w/ their enhanced strength and intelligence.
