In any case, poo-pooing the sources of Superman (Which are DC authorized) is a red herring. Supes CAN do those things. Whether or not its consistant, he has shown the ability. Trust me, everyone in the DBZ universe is HORRIBLY inconsistant. Vegeta destroys Napa with a flick of his wrist and a quick blast, someone that the entire earthbound crew couldn't properly contend with. Later on, Vegeta wrecks one of Frieza's minions in seconds, literally beating the guy to a stupid pulp. Seconds later, Vegeta is kneed in the nuts (Same animationm frames no less) like six times and goes down hard, needing to be healed. The difference in the last to combatants? Frieza's goon had a "lower power level" than the second one who floored Vegeta. But from what we saw, Vegeta simply didn't react at all to the attacks. Apparently having a lower power level makes you unable to respond properly. Otherwise, their striking speed is virtually the same throughout the series.

People forget that a lot of the animations and comic frames are frozen images, or slowed down to allow for viewing pleasure. It wouldn't be much of a fight if a Superman Comic shows one frame with a giant blur and the next frame with Supes victorious, now does it?

What are you going to say next? "OMG Neo is so slow, when he dodges a bullet, I see his body move slowly!"

That's because that scene itself is an inconsistency. Apparently the beam was the "speed of light" but Radditz only has to be the "speed of sound" to dodge it.

Not to mention there isn't a single attack in the series that is made of light.

I guess I shouldn't mention that Supes managed to beat Imperiex, because that'd be exploiting the same technicalities that they are attempting to nitpick with.

In the original manga/anime.... Ratdiz is not faster then light. Also that dub line contridicts itself becuase it took Goku a couple of months to run to Kaio-samas... and almost 2 days to run back (at this point he was 8x stronger then Ratdiz)

Superman Prime was the original Kal-El from the DC 1million comics. He was the same superman after sleeping in the sun for a bit. No one even dared to challenge him outside of Spectre.

Also I would like to say

NO DBZ CHARACTER goes faster then light..... Super Buu 3 (the 2nd strongest Character in Dbz was far from S.O.L... It took him about a minute or two to get to Goku and Vegeta.

Also Mystic Gohan took about a minute to get to Super Buu's position...

and before I hear "ZoMg Gotenks circled EaRth!!" I would like to say that is a filler scene and it creates plotholes.... And even if you wanna count that scene "Gotenks circled Earth 6 times in about 3-4 seconds".... That is still no where close to SOL

I'm convinced the hardcore debaters for Goku have not picked up very many Supes comics or know just how fast Light is.

To be fair, this argument should've been "ova" a long time ago, just all the fanboys throw reason and logic out the window and bring up feats that have no relevance to the fight.
