Goku v. Superman

Superman destroying one of Saturns moons. It also took him 4 minutes to get from Earth to saturn. Which is much faster than light.

Ok all those superman heat crap on the other page, is like 50 different superman and some not even the same writters, they all look different. next is the fact that superman went in a moon to destroy it....the namek blew up the moon before the sayian saga, with one blast. yes, radiz caught a bullet from a shotgun that the farmer had, and we all know raddiz is weak. you want to use 80 different versions of supes but I can't use a movie, well in the movie dragon fist gohan caught mad bullets at the start aswell. yes superman flys fast and makes water move, well so does every dbz character when they fly by water, and supermn is not that fast in combat fights, as shown in your own pics.
Superman to the sun, when the sun powers superman so how is that his normal strength when he puts darksied in the sun, ofcourse he is getting stronger because of the SUN there, might as well tell all the z fighters to give goku their energy right, since supes gets a power source. Also look how long it takes him to accelerate...

This doesn't stop you from using things after DBZ, which are by a different author altogether. This includes the filler, movies, and everything else you've tried to pull.

Catching bullets or blowing up the moon won't help Goku win this match. Get it through your head already. Superman > Goku.

Those "omfg 80 different versions of supes" are all from official DC comics and are over a period of years. The X-Men went through as many as three artists a year. Are they all thrown out of the window now because DBZ has the same style of artistry? Please. And "zOMG catching mad bulletz" doesn't make Goku capable of winning this fight. Period.

WTF? For one thing, it's "flies", not "flys" fast. Two, who cares about making water move? When was this an issue? That is -irrelevant- to the fight! And Superman IS faster than any DBZ character. Learn to admit it already. It's like alcholism; it gets better once you admit you are wrong.

Wow, talk about silly. It's already been proven that Superman is amazing even under the influence of a red sun (like that of his native homeplanet) which actually makes him -weaker-!

No, I didn't result to insults. That's not exactly possible. But since you're someone who wants to debate like adults (!!!) maybe you can see that the debate is OVA and DBZ is clearly outclassed here.

You got alot of time on your hands to find and put my name on various pics. By the way I don't like dbz as much as you think, because after freiza it gets repetative. I rather Superman to be honest but he is like fourth in my favorite super heroes. Spiderman first then comes the xmen(Wolverine) and after that is like some of the bad guys in xmen,batman,Bp, and MORE.

i'm still under the impression that dbz guys have much faster combative speeds... I mean radditz was catching bullets in the beginning of z.. by the time vegeta got there yamcha was moving so fast that gohan ( a fighter of the same power level by that point) couldn't even follow.. and those are the z characters at their lowest levels.... 😕

That still doesn't prove that they are faster than Superman though. Has anybody in DBZ/GT ever read at high speeds, move there body so fast that they become intangible (phase), or invisible Superman is faster in fightining/reflexive speeds and flight speed (which makes him far faster in mid-air combat too).

Having characters "blink" from one place to another to express speed is a common convention in anime. Heck, even Pikachu can do it, but this does not mean that Pikachu has lightspeed reflexes or speed. In comics, Spider-Man has been described to move faster than the eye can follow, but this does not mean that Spider-Man can move faster than light, or even sound.

During the Freeza saga, Goku was able to move fast enough to make it appear that attackers and energy blasts were traveling straight through him. Gohan performed a similar feat against Cell, but again, this does not conclusively prove lightspeed reaction time or speed. It proves only that said character moves faster than observing characters (and sometimes we the audience) can perceive.

Since no canonical speed has been given for any of the characters at any time, and the only in show references are the perceptions of other characters (ie. "Goku moved so fast, I didn't even see him!"😉, I'd conclude that DBZ characters are fast but not overwhelmingly faster than Superman or the Flash. 🙂
