That was only in the dub and the bogus funimation remake version. Piccolo never said anything like that in the Original manga or Japanese version.

Piccolo was sorely mistaken in the English version of the anime. . as his attack was obviously slower than the speed of light in the anime . .

Anyway that line was obvoiusly a mistake becuase a Goku with a pl of 8000 took almost 2 days to run snakeway and it takes mystic Gohan about a couple of minutes to get from one side of Earth to another

Supes couldn't win against something so ridiculously over the top as Goku.

Pre-Crisis Supes would own him - but current Superman is way outclassed in terms of speed and strength.

I mean - Goku levels mountains with ease and can teleport via instant transmission. Pretty hard to beat that lol.

The only advantage that Superman has in this battle is that he doesn't need to concentrate as hard to unleash his power - Goku needs to use effort to unleash his energy-attacks.

But moving as fast as he can and being as strong as he is and knowing MAs the way he does, I think he'd just take Supes down in close combat.

Are you joking? Post Crisis Superman would kill Goku...

All versions of superman combined feats beat GOKU.

Yes but if you think Ratdiz fights faster then Mystic Gohan flys then your hopeless.....

Exspeccially becuase you guys have no proof of Fighting speeds being faster then flying speeds...

Hell, you could sling in SSJ4 Goku and Broli and every other two-bit geek from the series against Superman Prime if you want to get really petty about it.

why is dbz in this forum but for the record supes can not go faster then light speed in earth in space he can remember that cause its a fact

Planet Namek was 45,000 light years away from earth, Goku flew there in a ship that made the trip in 6 days. Watch the episode where the ship is going to fly into a star; Goku walks around on the outside of the ship and has time to charge up a kamehamaha and redirect the ship before it crashes into the star. The episode shows how far away the ship is from the star and we know how fast the ship was... yet Goku was able to perceive and operate at a comparable speed; and this was a non-SSJ Goku (and the initial power boost from transcending into super sayian is 10x). Goku is much faster then Superman and while he may not have the strength to win in a straight slug feast one ki blast will have Superman drinking orange juice from a straw in a hospital bed for the rest of his life... and that is the best cause senario.

Superman prime will kill everyone, and since the show of gt is wrong to show feats it still doesnt mean ssj4 is weaker than 3, because it logically is 100x stronger. I could run fast but doesnt mean i could fight fast...got it ?

Goku in super saiyan form can travel at lightspeed, hense instant transmission..

And Raditz could've broken the sound barrier possibly, it was proven he could catch a bullet, but that's nowhere near LIGHT SPEED. And as said, there's a big differance between running, and implementing speed in battle..

But look around ten pages back and SpellJammer's lil fiction will do pretty well what the battle would look like.. 😉

You can't be a fanboy if you USE FACTUAL EVIDENCE, PUT IT IN CONTEXT, AND ANALYZE THE RESULTS, which is what he did.
