Cell was proven wrong after his beam exploded on top of Earth and only made a huge crator....
Also IT isn't instant, it takes a couple of seconds to lock onto ki... There is no debating this becuase it was a stated line.

well you could... but using "non canon" 🙄 material.. doesn't bode well for supes.. since, if that's the case.. radditz did indeed sidestep a light speed attack, vegeta blew up a planet with ease in the mid saiyan saga.. and goku can fight cooler WHILE in speeds of instant transmition....

Vegeta blowing up planet Arila was filler (if that's the case, he would have blew up Earth much easier against Goku too). And there not FTL bcasue there energy blast aren't FTL (unless you think Goku is faster than light, when he was out racing Cells rip off attack from Piccolo in flight speed, who is far more powerful than Piccolo at the beginning of DBZ). And Goku and Cooler (who had IT too) was fighting in another demension when using IT.🙂
