I just re-read it, and Banner says "Yeah, right.....then I woke up".Even Banner thinks he remembered the fight incorrectly.
Meh, I was overreacting and so are a great deal of Thor fans.
lol writer says
"I did, do something to make Thor fans feel lol about it though. When it cuts back to Banner who is trying to remember what happened he says, "Yeah, right...and then I woke up." Meaning he doesn't think he's remembering the fight correctly.BUT I really think that it IS a fair moment ..."

Yes.
This shit doesn't really mean anything in retrospect. You should visit Alvaro's Thor's board. Absolutely hilarious. People have canceled their Marvel subscriptions and are already banning together to barrage Marvel with emails and shit. When I have time I'll go stroke the fires.
Hulk is no where near as durable as Thor. Thor is a sun walker, and planet lvling survivor.....
Hulk is by far too weak and it would take hulk a while to reach Thor lvl strength.
if this was suppose to be a hulk story from back in the day i think the writer forgot hulk lvl strength starts off in the 70, 80 tons.. taking a few beatings from the wrecking crew shouldnt have bn enough to overpower Thor especially since thor is famous for holding back on hulk.
Thor is the guy who dismiss guys like Hulk when in a full rage in order to face off his high end herald/low skyfathers in prolong full comic slugfest.... like Drax and SS.
^ I suppose while Hulk has never had an opportunity to survive being inside a sun before, he has survived being propelled into an asteroid twice the size of the planet. So planetary leveling feats, he's got. I'm sure people can scrounge up other comparable ones.
And Hulk has never once been overpowered by Thor physically because he needed time to ramp up his strength levels.
Also, getting into vicious brawls with Hulk isn't exactly what I'd call holding back for Thor. Thor lets loose his full strength physically. And it's not like he puts down Mjolnir everytime they fight.
Hulk is not so easily dismissed. He's the strongest there is. durhulk
Stalemate 5/10.
Hulk was getting burned and seared inside a planet by the magma.... 😬
Thor has taken a score of planetary pressure and a supernova more then once i doubt hulk has or would ever handle it as well as thor and his cosmic lvl brethren... SS, Drax. 😗
The reason Hulk last as long is b/c thor never goes all out or is as vicious as he should be when facing emerald lips?
also iirc hasnt the mjolnir trick that worked in the one shot fail in the past?
didnt Hulk get his hand crushed last time he tried to hold back Mjonlir from thor in a middle of a swing the weight was too much for hulk even when thor was still gripping it.
^ Dude destroyed a star with his bare hands back in the day. That's kinda high-end.
Originally posted by Wild ShadowYou mean in Planet Hulk? Because in another instance in that storyline IIRC, he wasn't getting burned by magma. He's also withstood nuclear devices that typicalyl reach very high temperatures.

Not a big fan of the supposed score of planets feat with Umar. But I know what Thor has taken in addition to that as I am not arguing his durability, just your estimation of Hulk's. I don't recall Thor dealing with supernovas.
Thor goes all-out against Hulk everytime. Just because people's eyes widen and glaze over whenever they see godblasts doesn't mean he can't go all-out physically or hold back with his Mjolnir strikes, blasts, etc.
I don't know you're speaking of. I've never seen anybody grab Thor's hand and make Thor bonk himself with Mjolnir.
Hulk's hand hasn't been crushed by Mjolnir to my recollection. Not to say it couldn't be. But your scenario hasn't happened to my knowledge and I don't think that's how it would happen.

Screw that shit. I don't want any death threats from these guys. One of them might actually attempt to kill me.
It's funny how they always remind of what I could have been in terms of a blind fanboy. I'm more knowledgeable than a big deal of them, and really, really love Thor, but I try to be more reasonable.
