Yea I agree with you there. I mean I don't have a problem with Hulk beating Thor in a slug fest anymore, but knocking him out in 3 hits and splitting his nose in 1? When has Thor ever, ever shown such inferior durability and the lack of strength to do something as simple as stop Hulk from hitting him in the face? With his own hammer.
Thor has a win under his belt when he beat the Hulk and Thing, but it was a battle that lasted for hours, and he lost an arm and an eye.
I want to see how this turns out. It's coming out soon.

Just what I thought. He wrote this for some shock value and not to have the issue forgotten like it would have been otherwise.
Apparently he tosses a bone by saying that Bruce Banner did not remember correctly when he says "Yeah....right" etc.
He also says the Hulk won because it was a Hulk one shot. If it was a Thor one shot, he would have won or if it was a Hulk vs. Thor book it would have been a tie.

That is easily debatable with their history.
Thor just took Vector's full power unharmed along with others. Vector has easily reduced the Hulk to a near skeletal level even pre healing factor retcon/reveal.
Both of their endurance was shit though. Thor had Hulk bleeding dry and on his knees in like 4 hits.
I just re-read the fight and Thor's first hit had Hulk bleeding worse than Hulk had Thor in his. A lot worse it seems.
I don't see that happening usually. Art is terrible though in that panel.
