Thor holds back alot against hulk hence the reason for the slugging it out. But with the new forum rules in place he wont be doing that and will be trying his best to win which means using more than just the smash with mjolnir strategy.

Because Thor doesn't need to do anything else, Hulk has never come close to killing him.

The times Thor usually fights Hulk he either doesn't need lightning/extra moves, or he doesn't have Mjolnir.

The circumstances of almost all those encounters are quite different from what they are on KMC. thor holds back against hulk most of the time cuz he doesnt really want to hurt him. Hence he doesnt make use of alot of the powers he has. However, as the new rules on KMC have specified, combatants will be doing anything within their characters to win the fights. Hence thor will use sll powers he has shown are within his character to use.

took me along time but I now have to buy this one and 2 that supes hands hulk his butt and another 2 where he fights the the thing and in one of them thing(spikey) finally wins....but this is thor with survival instinct killing the hulk...end of line

Thor always regresses when fighting Hulk. Why assume he wouldn't in any other hypothetical scenario that involves CIS as this thread does? And it's not like when Thor regresses, Hulk is at his absolute peak. Hulk is able to go past what he has exhibited in his Thor fights too. 5/10 split with classic Thor

It seems like when Thor fights the Hulk he tries to beat the Hulk at his own game. He usually tries to slug it out with him. I remember in the Thor annual fight, he threw Mjolnir away because he said he didn't need the hammer to beat Hulk. He goes out of his way not to use his exotic powers to prove he can outslug the Hulk, which plays right into the Hulk's hands.

What would happen, if he just knocked Hulk over with some Asgardian wrestling manuever, then sat the hammer on his chest and walked away?

Well, the Hulk could probably use his hands to collapse the ground beneath him eventually. Not sure really, on solid ground he wouldn't be able to do anything.

yes and in ultimate avengers he actually lifted it...i was excited to see that movie when it came out and when i saw that part i threw my dvd across the room 😮
