I agree with this post, Thor usually tries to go toe-to-toe with Hulk, but if it really came down to it. Thor would and could, simply because he is more powerful.

Thor should win... and quite easily if he used his head properly just once.
Thor starts at a base strength higher than hulk, plus he has loads of power to back him up. If he just lets loose completely for the first 20 secs of the battle, hulk would be knocked out in no time.
Ofcourse, marvel would never write a comic that way. Hulk is vastly more popular than thor will ever be, which is why they always make hulk look good when fighting thor. Hell, look at what they did to the hulk vs. thor dvd. I almost threw my tv out the window after watching that.
