Fully extended? You do realise that this is the Marvel U, right? You know where martial arts can cause you do dodge bullets, jump ridiculously high and kick the snot out of the Wrecking Crew. Twice. The same Universe where Martial arts can cause you to turn the equivolent of the Thing into rubble with a casual slap of the hand. Elektra can turn invisible, stick can fight blind, and Cap can stun professor Hulk apparently with his fists alone.
So..given that the above is true about this universe. Is it unrealistic to believe that Logan can throw 25 fully extended punches in a second? Ordinary humans can't even see him fighting in combat...all they see is a blur. Heck, even the X-men saw a blur when Sabes and Logan were fighting. When Wolverine was fighting soldiers..it was shown in this one issue that it looked as if peoples limbs were just falling off due to some invisible force. That's how fast Logan is. He also cut apart a super ape so fast that the pieces only fell the ground after Logan was on back on the ground standing their looking at the ape. So yeah...25 claw swipes/punches per second is about right for him. His hands were also shown to be a blur when fighting hand ninjas...while in the same panel Iron Fist's and Elektra's hands looked normal speed. The dudes a beast when it comes to combat speed. That being said, I bet Captain America can throw close to 25 fully extended punches a second.
The punches I am talking about on youtube....they are basically chops up real close..but most normal humans can't move nearly that fast. Now take that..and amp it up exponentially for the Marvel U. Add in some natural mutant speed and it's quite easy to conceive of Logan throwing 25 fully extended punches per second.

Also...didn't anyone consider? If Logan can throw 25 fully extended punches per second...how fast can he strike utilizing all the various forms of striking? 35 per second would be my guess. So that being said...when it comes to per striking..any type of strike now..factoring in 6 foot-long unbreakable katana-eque blades...you have a man who can strike anywhere from 25-35 hits per second. And beast is supposed to dodge win this fight how?

lol...seriously? We can't debate how fast Logan can punch based on extrapolation?? okay....well I guess I will stick to comic book feats then. He still is able to chamber and throw a full extended punch in .038 seconds. He still looks like a blur to normal humans when in combat..that's if they can see him at all. His hands still look like a blur when fighting hand ninjas..in comparison to everyone else on panel at the time (which I believe included Iron Fist, Elektra and Spiderman and maybe Cap) and so we have enough on panel evidence to support Logan's combat speed being greater than Beasts. He's faster than a fully-powered Thor in melee combat so I don't see how Beast could be faster in terms of combat speed.

Even if Wolverine's speed surpasses Beast's catlike striking speed, he still has to take a step or two forward to get to him. Did I mention Beast has like an 8 inch reach advantage? Not saying that he'll beat Wolvey because of it, but that'll definitely give him enough of an edge to not be "finished" in 10 seconds like some people assume.
