I remember reading an Excalibur where she has natural telepathy and telekinesis and her own mutant ability to project an astral form through time, however her natural talents were nowhere near Phoenix levels till the Phoenix entered her if I recall. Her description may have been revamped since then though.
BTW I know Storm has limits you don't need to convince me of that 😄. W/out the Phoenix has it been proven that Rachel is without limits?
I mean before she began channeling Phoenix her TP, her TK, her power had limits. Of course it's hard to say because pretty much as long as Rachel's been around she's been channeling Phoenix.
I've wondered if all the parts of the Phoenix are going back to the White Hot Room then won't Rachel progressively lose her power? But maybe I'm misinterpretting.
Uh...she also thought she was a dinosaur, and changed her body to reflect it. She's obviously not all there right now.
Think about it: how often do uber psis stay around? Phoenix comes and goes, Onslaught was around for a bit, Nate had to die, Cable had to be put down by Surfer (which is incidentally a ridiculous notion). I could go on. The reason is that when you have someone who can control not only anyone's mind, but any number of people's minds, and who can not only move matter, but can manipulate matter down to its very basic constituent parts...that's the scariest kind of person in the world. They're way too powerful and can hardly be used.

I disagree. Rachel is the most powerful potentially. That is why she is an omega mutant. Her full full potential as a psi is phoenix.
However as for most powerful out of the team id say its out of storm and rachel with rachel having the edge. I prefer storm though lol.
