In the box office? Big deal, nothing opened against it.

War of the World just came out and that did really good.
It could of still held the number one spot, but Fantastic Four beat it.
There are plenty of good movies out that could of beat it but they didn't so there.
Fantastic Four did real good because it is real good.

Yea... maybe... course, it's a comicbook movie, which gives it a strong edge over all. Also, BB has a wierd sort of affect on people. I for one don't really need to see it again. It was amazing, but it's so... filling that you only need to see it once. FF is just plain fun watchin' so you could see it over and over and still laugh at the little quips ' Jeez, you'r hot!! thank you, so are you! and i'm not afraid to cry.' lol that was pretty clever... gotta rip that off sometime... lol

Also WotW wasn't very good either. Even by word of mouth the general public states that even the ending wasn't very good.

batman had the better writing, better acting and better character development, but fantastic four was funner.

The ending was the same exact ending from the book and the original film. The beloved orginal and beloved book. I dont understand why people diddnt like it. I guess people dont like things that make sense. Granted the movie diddnt make much sense, the ending used was the only plausible way to go. How the hell else was the movie supposed to end happily?

I personally liked the ending.

What did people want? The aliens to get a virus because their computers are Mac compatible?

I dont think people liked the ending because it wasnt an active resolve, it was a natural resolve. We as humans always have to be the supperior species. If jaws ended with the shark being killed by another shark, it wouldnt even had been remembered.

saw both movies. i honestly thought f4 was a lil to freindly for me. it was like a remack of spykids or something. dont get me wrong seeing jessica alba in her bra and panty was great....and that was the best part.batman felt more real and i enjoyed it more.

It wasn't the fact of what physically stopped the aliens, it was the fact that it was so sudden. "It just started walking in circles then fell down." Seriously, after 2 and a 1/2 hours you don't want it just to go "Then they got sick and died, the end."

I wish yall would please stop posting spoilers. People do plan on seeing these movies.
I had to skip over a few message and miss some posting because of people being foolish and posting spoilers.
I came on here to read and post, not skip over 4 or 5 post at a time to avoid reading spoilers.

I apologize. Especially for the WotW spoilers. But with FF and BB, it would be a little expected because these are comparing movies. You really can't compare them if you haven't seen them. But again, sorry for my part in any possible spoiling, I wasn't thinking about spoilers.

What aggrevates me is that Batman gets two and a half hours to explain the origen of one character,yet X men only got like an hour and twenty minutes to introduce you to like 6 characters!

Oh well.BB was more of a serious movie,but FF was just so much damn fun I almost have to say I liked it better.

Well, I know I should expect spoilers just let people know with a big spoiler sign and I think some did.
Then let people know when you are finish if you are going to post multiple thread with spoilers. Cause I don't know when they are over and I may accidently read one or just skip over one if I think it is and miss some information.
