well i think that it is Reg. Black cause in the Order of the Pheonix then they were going through Sirius's house -Now Harry's- and they found a Locket that they could not open.... maybe that is the Horocrux.... and Harry just has to go and find it now... although i cant recall did they throw it out or not... if not then maybe it is still there -or Mundugs took it?

All because it is a locket that they could not open, that doesn't mean that it is one of the Horcruxes! Sirius's mum could've put a charm on it, like she did to her picture. I doubt that bloke stole the locket, even if it is the horcrux, the Dark Lord would never be able to find it. Especially when Dumbledore is dead. the secret of the location of the Order of the Phoenix remains with him in his tomb. And no, I'm not saying that's a good thing either, just in case if someone was thinking that. 🙂

i dont know R.A.B seems to fit with reg,black ... but i dont think its him......he wasnt known to be a powerful wizard .....to figure it out i think we need to re-trace our steps too see exaclty who knows about the horcruxes or anyone in the memories who knows about the horcruxes

Good point, but I don't think that's going to get us far. For one, their seems to be a few people that could fit RAB or most of it anyways. It could be Madam Bones, Regulus Black, oh great, i just forgot the rest that i've read...oh well, someone else might know.

I think Regulas is better choice than Madam Bones. But I dont think its regulas either. But if the locket is a horcrux, i bet Mundungas stole it, and sold it.

I think it could be Madam Bones. She was killed by the Dark Lord, was she not? And she could have had the horcrux the whole time, and she didn't tell anyone, for the Dark Lord has his spies. And who cares about the locket, I highly doubt it was the locket of Slytherin.

i would rather it be Regulas though. Madam Bones is like one of the most unimportant characters there is. I wouldnt like it if it were her.

Regulus isn't important either. The only thing that's so special about him in the books is that he's related to Sirius.

i dont think it regulas or madam bones ...i think it was an old charachter who is now dead...the note does say "as i face death ...

maybe the person who took the horcrux hasnt left the cave maybe they died after retrieving the horcrux because of the potion or because of the creatures (cant remember what therye called , the ones who are dead soldiers)

Im not saying it Regulas. And I need a good reason for someone to think its Madam Bones too, besides that shes missing an R and was killed by Voldemort. I think both are bad choices.

THe only thing i can think of, is if RAB took the Horcrux and switched it before Voldemort put it in the cave.

Well I don't think it's a coincidence that Madam Bones was murdered and Dumbledore's been searching for the Horcruxes. They did say that she was a very powerful witch. That could mean equal or a little more power than Dumbledore. I doubt Regulus has more power than Dumbledore.
